please let us know if you need any gear (or anything else not listed)

I would like one of each! How much is it for both including shipping?

Do you work in the CBD? I could probably just meet you somewhere if you do.

Tinkerbell, what else is required for L2S......secondary bonnet restraint?

tinkerbell

nah, for late model cars, a secondary restraint is not required...

whilst the supp regs rarely state this, it is known by scruitineers and it has been clarified for me as:

All vehicles must comply with Schedules A & B of the CAMS General Requirements for Automobiles (as specific in the CAMS Manual), including a fire extinguisher; blue triangle (for battery), and a secondary method for fastening the bonnet (except that registered production cars manufactured after 01.01.1973 may utilise the original unmodified manufacturer’s components for securing the bonnet, without the use of a secondary restraint mechanism).

schedule A & B are here:

Mainly track/circuit.

But i do want to try out hillclimbs.

Problem is my car is a daily as well so i dont want to get a cage or harnesses put in, hope that wont be a problem.

the only detail you need for the CAMS L2S licence form is the name of your affiliated club: Japanese Sports Car Club Inc.

CAMS L2S form (http://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CBcQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cams.com.au%2FMembers%2FCompe titors%2F~%2Fmedia%2FFiles%2FDevelopment%2FGet%252 0Involved%2FCompetitors%2FLicenses%2F57987%2520CAM S%2520License%2520Application_2010.ashx&ei=lvA1TvmnGsnzmAW5ztXvCg&usg=AFQjCNHbkZnz21itpwlFT5TlGQChHSEOtw)

you DO however need to get the temporary licence (bottom of page 4 of the application) signed by a JSCC official, like me, so you can have a 30-day licence whilst CAMS processes your proper one...

do work in the CBD at all?

yeah - sorry the WTA site is bjorked and wont tell me any thing besides:

"Sorry, but the page you requested could not be found."

so you will need to contact the organisers to find out what sort of licence you will need (i recall it was L2S - but not sure of this year?)

regardless - i will give you a temporary 30-day L2S licence tomorrow - provided that you have sent off your application to CAMS along with payment.
