It can be with a small amount of work.

At the moment, no dash lights, and it's missing a headlight cover. Should have a headlight cover by next week, and then I need to put a new speedo cable in it, and check the wiring, and we're off.

Motor still starts with no issues and it still paints lines on the road in multiple gears.

apparently the old rotary owners handbooks stated that the engine should be taken to redline once during each drive of the vehicle to keep the oil control systems working correctly.

I dunno what effect it really has, but I stick to it.

The oil metering pump is throttle activated, so if you just drove around at low throttle openings, then the rotor chambers wouldn't get any oil injected to lubricate the seals. A plausible theory I guess :D

All I can think is that they wouldn't want any sort of build up to stop the OMP opening up completely and not giving enough oil at times.

The "FB" is actually properly called the SA22C. It's only called the FB in America, but that's because of legal requirements more than anything else.

Ive seen some good examples on Carsales for Series 8 FDs go for about 30-35k?!

IMO they are one of the hottest JDM cars of all time and it is getting to the point where I can probably get one in the next year or so... Fuel Consumption is the killer though *cries*

It's an S2000 Mooncraft roof on an FD RX7. No idea how they got it to fit - maybe they make it for FDs as well..?

Could be worse I guess, plenty of FD owners make their cars supremely ugly without going to such lengths.

The porsche ones look good IMHO, that one hrmm I dunno the lights I don't like although the shape is nice.

The FD is the ugliest pretty car in the world, such a great shape that 0.1% of owners have managed to take advantage of, the rest just rape it hard in the looks department....

Oh yeah and some pics I've taken over the last few months here in Japan. I'll have to take some more photos of Takayama's new FD, I have a few down the bottom here but that was before paint. Also got some photos of his old orange FC down the bottom too :). Shino is his mechanic so I see him and the car fairly often.
