I'm a massive fan of American Chopper. Mainly because I like seeing them conceptualise a bike and document the process of building it.

I'm also a fan of Bike Build-off.

Some of the custom shit they do is soooo inspiring. Blows my brain and makes me feel weak for buying off the shelf bolt on parts for my cars.

Here are a couple of links to guys who put their heart into bikes they build:

Care to share any more?

American Chopper is great, very interesting when they are building the bikes and how they can make a bike "from scratch" and also Mikey is the best.

Yeah OCC's Spiderman bike could have been really naff, but it turned out amazing in my opinion:

Oh I remember that episode, The black widow bike with the spider web was an ingenius design.

I liked the NAPA drag bike they built, looked awesome, don't remember the exact specs, but it had a fairly big V twin engine.

Whilst it's not a TV show or DVD I reccomend you get the book "the art of the chopper"

it's a big hardcover coffee table book, it takes a look at the best customs from around the world and an insight on the builders with stunning photos.

I still flick through it whenever I see it laying there. Well worth looking into.

You can read more about it here.

Love biker build off. One of my fav's was billy lane and his 'hubless wheel' and the Indian larry tribute.

Ewen McGregor & Charley Boorman are very brave men. Its so awesome that they decided to do this again.

Its showing on the Nat Geographic channel at the moment. Watching makes me want to ride 22,000 kms.. except I would probably skip the riding through Lybia part.

Have you seen Long Way Round? It's an awesome series. I didn't get into Long Way Down, but will probably pick up a DVD for it later.
