It's a truly awesome steering wheel huh ? I'll be fitting one to my own car next week - I just had to have one !

I really like the fact that it is so strong too - there's something about really well designed and engineered products, that are also finished to perfection, that just strike a chord with me every time.

It's a perfect example of a product made with true Japanese engineering and attention to detail, combined with Italian leather and suede work and Italian craftsmanship.

I was a little nervous handing such a rare wheel to the drifters so they could see if they could break it haha - but I knew it was a very strong wheel, and sometimes you just have to let people try to break your products to satisfy themselves about how strong they are.

We've done that again a few times in the last few days when demo-ing it to a couple of wholesale customers - when I hand it to them and say to them "try and break it", they are like "are you serious ?!" LOL

As it says at http://www.tunersgroup.com/Online_Store/Works_Bell_Team_Orange_Steering_Wheel_Suede_Or_Lea ther.html ...

"We knew the Team Orange steering wheel was an extremely strong steering wheel, but the true test is to hand it to a hard core drifter, and let them try to bend it or break it - they couldn't do it.

Quite simply, the Works Bell Team Orange Steering Wheel is designed specifically to survive the extreme environment of professional drifting. It is a stronger wheel than steering wheels sold by many of Works Bell's competitors, and as proven by our "try to break it" test, it doesn't bend out of shape when subjected to the rigours of drift use.

Of course this strength also means it is a very durable wheel, which will last longer and give you a much longer service life in your car than steering wheels from many competing manufacturers."

I don't know of many other parts companies apart from us who will hand a brand new $400+ steering wheel (the only one in the country) to a customer and say "try to break it" haha :)

But when you get a collaboration between a company like Works Bell and a team like Team Orange, it's really no surprise that they developed such a strong (and good looking) wheel.

If you like, you can send one to me to try to break.

Can't guarantee you'll get it back though. :)

I am pretty finicky when it comes to stuff for my car, things have to be just so. I don't take it to the mechanics for this exact reason (I do all the work myself) as they never do it 'just so' if you know what I mean. It's not often I see a product and decide on it at first sight, I tend to research things to the point of exhaustion...
Be ready for an order soon :) , I'm looking at the leather wheel and a Team Orange Rapfix with a Toyota Corolla AE101 hub adapter.
I'll be looking at buying in the next two weeks or so.

Got my Team Orange gear in good condition and excellent time.

Over 9000 points to the guys at The Tuners Group, their service and help was beyond exemplary, they were happy to go way above and beyond the usual 'pay online and product turns up' that most other online retailers are like.

I'll definately be purchasing from you guys again. :)

Heh, I won't be parting with mine for love or money. :D

Every time I get in my car, it's like awesome all over again. It's probably the most needlessly opulent, yet most totally satisfying thing I've ever bought for my car.
