Hi guys,

Just wondering, of those of you who own Lancer Evos, what forum(s) do you visit?

I'm in a frame of mind were I'm contemplating getting a VII but want to do some reading first.

Cheers.

"Please Note:-

SEVS is a process for determining vehicle make/model eligibility only.

This SEVS Entry issued by the Administrator does not constitute automatic approval for importation of nor infers ADR compliance for supply of the vehicle to the Australian market."

A raws package isn't yet available for them. Yes you can import, but you cannot compliance.

EvolutionOz is commonly referred to as 'EgoOz' - reason being, too many dickheads who think the EVO is the greatest car in the world and you're a 'wanker' for not tracking your car.....regardless.

That being said, there is some good stuff on there - but way too many have ruined it for the rest IMO (and I've been a member there for over 3yrs).

You want a mad forum, visit EvolutionM - its a US site with HEAPS of info (although you tend to have to put up with the Yank BS from time to time).

Because you're new ;)

Don't get me wrong, there IS some great info on there at times and I've been fortunate enough to meet some great people who I now call friends......but there are some which I wouldn't give the time of day to.

Much like any forum really...

Been lurking for several years, never really found that to be the case as to what you described earlier.

evo oz is full of middle aged wankers on power trips
and that stupid attitude that t mentioned

evotuned.com is a new one
its part of the hardtuned.net network (nissansilvia etc)

and evolutionm.net is the ULTIMATE evo forum

Just got sick of the attitude on there to be honest mate - part of the reason why I'm not entering EvoNats this weekend.

Certain members really started to get on my nerves with the way they would carry on about certain vendors or tuners - and most of it came from n00bs who just wouldn't shut the fuck up about it.

The whole 'cut a quick time and now I'm the greatest tuner in the world' attitude get's really old........you know?

I'll still run ISMR's Dyno Day's though - we've decided to hold them once a year instead of twice, so stay tuned for June/July
