Private Track Day Oran Park Grand Prix Circuit
Well What a way to spend my birthday... is all i can say!
The first Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R Z-Tune has arrived on our shores and was belted around the Oran Park GP Circuit on Friday in Sydney. Imported by Powerplay Imports, number 15 of 20 only made, this is the one and only, true GODZILLA of GT-R.
The owner resides in melbourne and as such is where the car will stay, so keep a look out for it you lucky VIC people maybe at a track day or two in the near future.
To say the car was "f**king INSANE" is an understatement, it is the most beautiful piece of engineering i have ever layed my eyes upon, like a wet dream come true it well and truley DID impress EVERYONE!
I will post LINKS to threads and references to this day from other websites, sadly i did not take any photos or video but rest assure there will be plenty on the net in the coming days!

yeh it was first time i got out there and i loved it
car definatley needs swaybars, and better tyres, i pushed my street tyres to the limit, managing a best time of 1:31:0xx end up coming 4th in my group. if my tyres didnt screech in every corner i wasnt pushing hard enough lol
the new brake setup felt great, first time i could really push it, r33 gtst front calipers but now with braided brake lines, ferodo ds2500 pads, and an s15 brake master cylinder i felt a bit more safer driving the car now than before with that god awful spongey pedal
as for how my car went, ask Thomas how it looked when i fanged past him on the straight
LOL ;)
we had a nice mini battle going on for 3-4 laps with another r34 gtt it was great to say the least, alas this time the SR20 POWAAA came out onto :)

bit of a late question, but how did the Ztune get complianced without an SRS airbag steering wheel?

Do all cars have to have an airbag?!

All cars that had an airbag from factory have to have an airbag. older cars with out airbags can be fitted... or no airbag needed.
I know this as my mate got defected for putting a non-airbag steering wheel on his DC2.
yep, part of the ADR's.
Plus, i think from 1997 onwards almost every car had one standard for the driver.

i think it did have a streering wheel with an airbag on it,
but it was changed over to the racing wheel, as i saw the airbag one sitting near the tools
:)
