so whats with the cotton fluid covers? wouldn't that heat up the fluids when you vtec?

isnt that dangerous for the brake fluid etc to boil up? or is that some new age heat dispenser? I always thought boiling brake/steering fluids etc were dangerous and defectable? (i got done last time for having a boiling power steer res)

I always thought they were for catching fluid overflow, so you dont get a messy engine bay.

Clean pics tho. Everything about it works really well.

Yup those reservoir covers, or commonly known as "socks", ie: "Spoon Socks" are just to clean up overflow and leaks and are meant to be made of fire proof material.

afaik, only the mugen socks are fire retardant, the spoon socks are not.
