Hi all,

Today we received an amazing series of photos from Works Bell in Japan of Toshiki Yoshioka actually machining the prototype of the Yoshioka ToshiKing Shift Knob himself on a lathe in one of Works Bell's research and development workshops !

We were absolutely amazed to learn that Yoshioka machined the gear knob himself.

How many other manufacturers do you know of whose factory sponsored drivers not only win against the best in the world on the racetrack, but who also know how to make the parts on their own racecars ?!

Goes to show, by making his own parts that he REALLY knows his car.

Yeah exactly - a lot of drivers wouldn't even know how to switch a lathe on, let alone use one.

I love lathes, its just like shaping pottery only better, because pottery is for gheys. Nice finished product too.

Yes, and they can remove fingers like cheese sticks if you don't know how to use one properly.Every machine shop i have worked at usually has a guy with a finger missing. So far so good.
