Here's my little trip down memory lane...(excuse the n00b photography ;) )

My very first car, the morning after I got her home on my P's.

I called her Agbess (AGB-83S), or Aggie for short.

...and thus began a 7 year relationship, with a car that was good to me.

After a year of saving the mods began.
The 4WD Integra was born.

Hot4's magazine was born, and all these damn Swift GTI's were getting around making a helluva noise.

I had to get me some of that vroom vroom. Sports muffler with Clubsport tip. I was cool man...

The car still sat too high though. Where to go for suspension in Sydney?

Check the phonebooks, make a few calls, "You want to what? Don't be silly, only people with real sports cars like Ferrari's modify their suspension...."

A quick check through Hot4s magazine and finally I found a few nearby, "Nah bruh we only do rotors bruh. Your cars tew new bruh..."

*sigh*

Finally SSV Epping, woohoo, they can do it! But I got the car back and hey, guess what, it didn't look any lower! (sorry no pics)

I was lucky though, the owner arranged for me to go to Lovells Springs (the manufacturer of the non-lowering lowered springs) near Strathfield. A quick drive there and they agreed to make custom springs up for my car for no extra cost!

Car went up, corner weights taken, then they asked me how I drove the car and what I would like it to be like. They guestimated the figures and told me to come back in 2 weeks and the freshly made custom springs would be ready.

They were... :D

I had also decided to get all the black rubber and plastic bits body coloured.

After awhile I discovered the Old Pacific Highway and so much fun was had. I can't believe how much things have changed. There were so many times that I drove the old road without seeing another car...during the DAY.

The relationship wasn't meant to last. After 7 years, a young P plater would take my baby away from me...

The guy didn't give way at a large roundabout. I was just about to exit it, he was entering it and decided to floor it into my passenger side-front corner. I had nowhere to go, there was a car to my right that was going the same pace I was...

My car spun around 180 degrees and smacked the rear of his car...

Tough break man, tough break :(

So wait, it was 4WD? Was that common for the 1990 Integra?

Oh I get it, by "4WD" you meant that it was riding as high as a 4WD. Gotcha!

What year did you own that from / to ? Im guessing mid 90s to 2002ish ? Whenever it iwas, it did look VERY clean till it's life was taken away :( 7Y seems a long time to own a car that remained reasonably stock for so long! Lets hope i can keep mine for that long. lol

I bought the car in 1997. It only remained stock for so long because I didn't have enough income to pay for any real mods. lol

hmmm...I guess Hot4's hadn't just been "born"... But it was still relatively new. :)

I also still have those wheels... I should sell them. They have tyres on them, but not sure on the condition of the tyres seeing as they're old. Might take some pics of them if the rain goes away.

Great read. Man, thats so sad eh. What a mint looking DA9. Those rims looked sweet on it. They almost look like Veilside Andrew's. What are they?

Ah cool, cheers man. Will do, but I'll take some photos first. Unsure what they're worth. I have no use for them though.

Size is 16x7.5 - offset I'll have to find out. They're also multi-fit 4 stud.

I could, but I won't. Money's better spent elsewhere atm. But one day, maybe :).

It happened awhile ago now. Insurance pay out sucked. My car was insured for "market value" only. This was a HUGE mistake on my part. I lost so much. Ever since then I've always had my car's insured for agreed value.

Thanks dude :)

I can't remember, there's a tab on the wheel which says, and I think they actually have Made In Japan stamped on them. So theyr'e probably a copy made in the homeland.

But I can't remember.
