We should be back at WSID again next year 2007 with the new beast + all out powered allmtr engine.

car is not around anymore.
sold the car with H22A motor and the K heart went into badhbt.
I always wondered if they were the same motor in both cars! Well now i know :) And what time has badhbt run now? Faster than teh EG?
BADHBT : 12.7@109mph without ITB. We got 6 runs only and the cv joint decide to gave up on me LOL
It was the same set up/engine when egk20a ran 12.88 on street tyres.

I find the whole Turbo vs. NA topic hillarious. It reminds me of when I was into Macs, and I used to fight about Macs vs. PC's.
Mac T-Shirts were like "Get a life, get a Mac", that's similar to "NA is Best!".

But seriously...
It's awesome to see so much power out of a tiny little eco-friendly Honda engine but if I was really going for NA I'd love a V8 or better yet, look at the big boys, V12's... Porsches, Ferarri's, Astons, Lamborghini... now there's some real NA power!!!
So sure, if I had one of those exotics with monster NA engines, I'd definitely wear a T-Shirt which says "NA is best!".

You know Luc I used to think the same thing when I was passing Ferarri's, BMW's and Porsche's on the straight at Eastern Creek in my $30k GT-R.
But now I just think those guys in their exotics are saying "Haha, look at that ugly old Jap shitbox overtaking me". They have the last laugh really, as they're the ones in the Ferarri! Or something like that lol...

Agreed Narada, it's understandable to see people being jealous of wealthy people. It's a shame that it's not a perfect world, and that not everything is equal. It sure takes time and maturity in order to tame negativity.

Yeah I recently learnt it's not just skill, after being driven around Wakefield by Lou (boyracer), in my own (old) MX-5 I realised you've got to be a little CRAZY too lol.

ive done a bit to my mx5 now,
brakes, suspension, etc etc..
still havent done 1 single thing to gain 1 more kw.
was like that with my previous cars too.
hi z10, can you tell me who mapped the itb's on this car. and was it individually done for each tb? if so, i'm guessing that the hondata k pro lets you do that. thanks.
any reason why cams and head work wasn't done with the itb's or is that for the next project.

BTW my ol man drove Zi's car at the Island as an istructor and loved it... Said he could place the car any where he wanted on the track no probs.
The grey EG is yonas', egk24a, I beleive it's another shell.

Yeah, I reakon it got a lot to do with Balls. I will always remember when I first met Zi at JDM Land, when I just came back from my first wakefield track day, pulling 1.24's. He told me to slow down modding, start tracking... and if I wanted to be quick... get some Balls. I think it was something along the lines of, "being quick is like 85-90% balls, 15-10% car and driving skill".
Maybe not THAT extreme, but definately true.

Version 1 was Blue
Version 2 was White
EGK24A is a Grey EG which is Yonas's car
