Agreed. If you can't do it at all of them then you shouldn't really be taking the test in the first place.

how many of you know that you are only allowed to go 70 only AFTER you pass the sign.. not before?... cause thats one thing they failed me on.. i was about 3 meters away from the sign before i passed the 60 mark

Just a quick tip if you make your booking around the 2:30pm-4:00pm mark.

they WILL take you through a school zone so be wary of that, so it pays to do your homework and check out all the school zones.

Its probably best to do it at your local RTA since you know the roads best there and youll be driving around there the majority of the time.

Good Luck!

lol what i did was just go to bankstown and drive around the area with my dad for abit... got full marks first go with no instructor =D

Like if you fail thats because your inexperienced and need more practise... just practise so you will feel comfortable in any area and then just pick a place most convenient to you...

^ i did it at bankstown too. Had an instructor lesson just before my test and he took me on all three of the possible routes...Gave me little hints too like how far you should stop behind someone. You should be able to see their mudflaps/tyres with ease

Somewhere with lots of camry driving middle aged female asians.

Youd be the best driver in the district

But if entering from a side street to heavy/stopped traffic, you would never be let in

Liverpool has hidden stop sign when your driving out of their carpark, it's like under knee height so you can't really see it.

Passed first time at Castle Hill, no idea about the others.
Lots of places seem to have the stop sign in the carpark, I parked on the street for mine so didn't have to worry about it.
If you know what your doing and don't get put off by having someone watching over you then should be fine, also should go without saying to make sure all the lights/indicators work for the car your doing the test in, normally first thing they check.
Good Luck

If you know how to drive safely in public, any RTA should be fine.

It's like if I can see the "END SCHOOL ZONE" sign from the start of the school zone, i could gas it

Wetherill park is a pretty easy area if you know it, its alot of industrial, and most of the roads are pretty wide with no tricky round a bouts.

Liverpool has alot of blind corners and little streets with cars parked on either side.

Either way you need to do the same test so it makes little difference

Parramatta is hard with all the one way and school zone.

One trick I did to pass my P was to turn on the aircon to max so you would need to gas more to speed :) really helps controlling under the limit

I taught the instructor how to fix their PC during the test. They were so preoccupied with talking that I had to prompt them to tell me directions!

We even missed one turn, so she just said "Whoops, oh well, just turn left here and head back to base. That should do us"

I actually got 101% in the test, because I had to avoid a kid running on the road.

Note: this was in my S13 silvia too, and "Dragon lady" that took me usually fails every male at least once, supposedly.

well it would be best if you actually took a lesson with a driving instructor who knows the common routes the testers take

i did mine in lidcombe and my instructor took me down all of the known routes and i was comfortable knowing where all the stop signs were and the speed limits of all the roads
