finally got a new pump
but now have to take the tank out :(

took the tank out in 1/2 an hour only to find the imobiliser wasnt allowing enough voltage to the pump so i had to get rid of part of my imob and rig up a kill switch
all good though car should be back to terorising (sorry for the spelling) the roads of north syd / central coast

get it tuned now! Ive always wondered what kind of power it would make. A friend with less mods made around 180rwkw on 16psi...

180rwkw sounds about right for a 1g with minor mods. The problem is there isnt really much more in it than that unless you want a big turbo and lots of lag.

Oh and P.S. what is that hot looking mk3 supra being blocked by your soarer for???? lol.

P.S.S. Meadan did you get the boost controller fitted or was it on the car when you got it? Just wondering for my own personal benefit. ;)

Update on turbo upgrade
car still at DAT performance in tugerah
There is just enough room to make a y pipe on stock manifold 300mm of clearance
then getting all other pipes made up and getting a dyno tune to top it all off
Ruff quote of maybe $800 - $900

have now gone through 2 engines
and need another one
had 1 head reconditioned
still finding a new bottom end
have maybe bought one of a guy in perth so all may be good
will update closer to drive time

Update:

Half way through
Engine is on its way from perth
Head has been mostly put togther
After i had to replace 5 exaust studs, grind part of the original turbo bracket (for the new turbo), and reweld the oil feed pipe due to crap welding, and fix the y pipe welds due to crap welding
Still need to get new leads and plugs, clutch kit
Rebuilding gearbox at work (bearings noisy)

Btw, the leads that i had on there were less than 5000km old. They were custom made magnecore ones by some shop off toymods. If you still want to get new ones they seem pretty good :)

Update
I know its been a while but anyways
Coudnt get the single turbo convert right so it got ditched
Had to go for another stock engine and rebuilt the gearbox (no more noise)

oh yeah the custom brake master cylinder stopper.

I copied a cusco one, but made it out of 3mm stainless steel. Be happy, completly hand made by me, youll never get another stainless one :P

Awesome to see its going though! This is the only car Ive ever considered buying another of :)

the boost controller doesn't work sometimes so it tends to spike to 1.5 bar
and i finally got it to slide
now that im working at a tyre store i think i may have a sponsor to slide
