I can remember acting as a pace car to the Newcastle AS in 2005 (Nico didnt know Newcastle and needed help) and seeing this thing in the flesh was much more impressive!

The bark from that uber expensive Gruppe M exhaust, the stance & the neck snapping ability this machine caused as it cruised past was unforgettable :)

One of the other guys went in a F430 and trust me, the NSX turned way more heads - sounded soo much better as well!

There were road works going on at the time and we were stopped by one of those lollipop guys with the stop/ slow sign and he stood there holding the sign in front of the windscreen on 'stop' like we were in the F1 pits or something lol.. think he got a kick out of it :)

Strange thread to start all the sudden.
The car has been sitting in the workshop since April. The T top that is, without the stickers. Want to ressurect the car but rego, CTP, plates and insurance and no space to park. So just letting it sit.

Gone back to euro and modding the bull. Bloody NSX was expensive this is triple that for parts.

You own (and extensively modify) an NSX and a Lamborghini, yet rego, CTP, plate costs and insurance are a problem? Even parking shouldnt be hard to sort out with that much money to throw around! :twisted:

Getting the NSX on the road will cost me 4-5K and I dont have a parking spot at my new place. It is sitting at lambo Sydney service since April. Havent really put it up for sale waiting to see if a mate will buy it.

I'll be taking photos next year with Easton when the car is closer to where I see it is ready.

Man, i heard that yellow gallardo "spyder" driving past the bridge towards the chatswood direction.
I was following it and once it went into the tunnel... OMYGOSH.. the sound was both mindblowing and earpiercing. When it downshifts, it makes such a loud backfiring sound also...

The car has been sitting in the garage for a year.
I have to get rego and reinsure the car and I'm hoping to have the car back on the road shortly.

Hi Guys,
I'm very fortunate to be able to own and drive regularly multiple beautiful cars. Though my daily is a Prius :)
Still have a soft spot for the NSX, which I do longer drives as its super reliable, economical and cheap to maintain. It has 90,000Km, my first one which is the one that went to Autosalon had 130,000km. My lambo gallardo had 30,000km and that was super high for such a car and now the LP640 has 19,000km. Its difficult as most aussie exotic owners dont drive their cars as much as overseas owners. My cars dont sit around, I drive them.
The NSX though is a keeper. I hope to come on more JDM meets.

Guys, Nico is an awesome character and works harder than most people I have ever met to achieve what he wants...

I guess that is the secret to being successful.... NSX's and Lambos don't just fall out of trees.... you must earn them

Since NSX GT, I've had the Gallardo and now LP640 and all my money goes into repayments and I try to squeeze in social life so there is very little for mods these days.
I have had alot of luck and thats why I believe you should remain humble because you never know when your situation changes and then boom its public transport.

Thanks for the kind words. The NSX gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling compared to the Lambo's.
The NSX is a honest car, most people dont know what it is but it gives me special feeling for around $100K.
My Lambo's yes they're fun but like their marketing line their uncompromising, my back kills after driving them. Loud as Fark. People either love u and sit on your arse and want to race u or jealous.
To all those who dream of NSX get it sooner rather than wait as prices are staying the same and join the club. NSX owners are the best group of people.
