Hi antmang,

As they are competition seats, the sliding rails and sidemounts are sold separately, so that teams can choose which mounting method they want to use.

Sidemount steel brackets and sliders are available.

You can attach a pair of sidemounts to the seats then attach the sidemounts to sliding rails of course - this gives you both tilting adjustment of the driving position via the side mounts, as well as sliding adjustment via the sliding rails. I have the seats in my car set up that way.

Hi All,

The OMP Damper Seat Mounts have been added to our website today.

They are a very cool bit of engineering.

As it says on our website ...

These seat mounts are a patented side mount seat bracket system developed by OMP with dampers incorporated into the seat mount, in the form of shock dampening bushes.

The bushes help reduce the shocks transmitted to the seat in extreme racing environments.

This seat mount is FIA approved.

Pricing is per pair.

While these mounts are more expensive than standard non dampened mounts, if you have ever slammed your way through a Baja 1000, Dakar Rally or similar, you'll know that these kinds of extreme racing environments are very hard on the spine, and the value of these damper mounts becomes quickly apparent.
