Veeery interesting, I can honestly say alot of bike shsops probably couldn't give two stuffs to measure your head they would just say it has to be sorta loose or not heaps tight.

Its good to see that they are raising more awareness on this issue.

I guess it depends on which sales person you get when you go looking for a helmet. Some just wanna make a sale and will push you towards a more expensive helmet or one that looks good.

I think the sales person that i had at SCM at Kogarah was great, cause he spent a good 45mins trying to get a helmet that fit me best.

End of the day, i think a little research into helemts from the buyer helps as well.

There's a great guy at MCA Liverpool who spent about half an hour talking to me about proper helmet fitment. He measured me up properly, he even uses gloves for sanitary reasons, ask danielb :lol:

I would recommend going to MCA Liverpool.

I wear glasses so it took a while for me to find a suitable helmet that let me wear glasses at the same time.

Ended up with an Arai Vector, super happy with it.

fuck i wouldn't wanna fall off my bike just like that guy did in that video, thats scary.
