View Full Version : Blueslip for interstate bike

Just wondering about the process of registering an interstate bike. I know that I would need a blue slip, and then follow the normal registration procedure.
What are the costs and times involved with this process?

Is it really too much of a fuck around for a cheap bike?

What are the types of things they would fail you on?

Reason I ask is because there's a bike that I've seen that has recently come across from interstate and will need NSW rego. Provided the registration process is not too costly or arduous, the price is also quite attractive.

You will almost certainly get put over the pits, it will lighten your wallet about $400 extra.

They will check the frame for cracks, I would imagine the bike would have to be stockish and have all the standard fairing etc.

It can be done though.
