not really keeping, cause the civic had no abs. it's gonna be driven mainly on the street so it might be useful sometimes  integra abs is a good thing, it doesn't kick in as fast as in some other "normal" cars

this is actually a second try, the first one took 3 seconds longer. the engine runs smooth, no errors from p28 with p73 base fuel/igniotion map. i'm gonna use crome instead of hondata. much cheaper, gives exactly the same results on the dyno.
Bee-yoo-ti-ful !
Loved the timeline, almost all wear & tear items have been replaced - this is virtually a new car !
This is inspiring work mate, keep producing the goods :)

awesome build mate.
hows the quality of the password jdm strut bars? is it worth buying them?
!markos
19-07-07, 09:53 AM
rigidity is great, material quality also ok, but the design sucks :???:  fit is good, mounting holes are bit too large.. it's very easy to punch the nuts through the bars.. they tend to loosen up if not used with washers big and hard enough not to bend.
!markos
23-07-07, 09:25 AM
clutch ordered, should get here in about 3 weeks.. bought exedy clutch with exedy cromoly flywheel :)

clutch and flywheel changed, feels much better than stock clutch, pulls harder, absolutely no slip with only 20% stronger pressure plate! every b18c6 should have this clutch/flywheel combo as stock
IcemaN, go get your exedy stage 1! it's a very good and slightly better than stock clutch, absolutely no problems when using it daily and on the street. requires a bit more pedal force, but u get used to it in 2 minutes.

here's some news..
first of all i've disassembled the supercharger to see if the seals and bearings are ok. unfortunately the only bearings which don't need to be changed are the snout ball bearings.. all the others, including front rotor bearing and seals are crap and must be changed. if anyone can let me know where to get the rotor seals - please let me know by sending pm!
http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/5066/10192296vl7.jpg
http://img176.imageshack.us/img176/6287/33002974qq0.jpg
the needle bearings were so loose that rotors scrathed the case..
http://img176.imageshack.us/img176/2094/24334984wp4.jpg
coupler and front snout bearings + seal are going to be changed
http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/8356/68646236kh1.jpg
i've also started preparing the jackson racing intake to weld laminova cores. i showed a friend exactly how to cut it, but he did it his own way... well.. it didn't really come out the way it was supposed to  we're going to try to weld back the rear of the intake and if we fail - he will buy me a new intake plenum.

http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/3791/kics3fl1.jpg
back to the interior.. some more welding had to be done to bolt the seat support, but the finished result was worth it :D

there are threads on hondatech which cover dc interior into eg. i didn't do it myself, i just picked up the car like this, so i don't really know what has to be done. afaik side supports have to be modified - the rest is a breeze. you need some more parts from integra than just the dash.

i'll have the rotor seals in about 2 weeks, it's almost impossible to get them! i had to order them directly from skf!
btw. almost all of skunk2 polyurethane bushings are gone. i have no idea why it happened, but i was taking them out in pieces..

product registration and reporting them broken worked quickly and in 3 days brian from skunk2 sent me a set of fresh bushings, both for LCAs and for my camber kits (as all of the bushings were damaged)!

nothing interesting happened through the last few months. in september it's going back to ssgarage for forging. depending on how fast they will do the engine, it will be run in before winter, or will spend the whole winter in ssgarage. it will go back on the roads in spring, hopefully turbocharged

You are prob the best man to ask. Have you any experience fitting dc2r rear seats to an eg? I found they were too wide and was left with a big gap in between...
!markos
18-10-08, 01:46 AM
lower part of the seat is too small in both ways - too narrow and too short. the upper part fits perfectly using eg frame and itr foam/covers.
Any news on this, mate? :)
