The Tuners Group is extremely pleased to announce our appointment as the exclusive Australian and New Zealand representatives for world renowned racing wheel manufacturer Gibson Racing Wheels.

Gibson Racing Wheels are extremely strong, extremely lightweight 3 piece wheels, and can be custom built in diameters from 15 inches to 21 inches, with custom widths and offsets.

Weightwise an 18 x 10 inch Gibson Road Racing Wheel weighs under 18 lbs (8.6 kg), which is incredibly light, yet passed the SAE J238 cornering and fatigue test with a test result of double the SAE J238 test standard, so they provide both very light weight and very high strength.

Additionally as Gibson Racing Wheels are 3 piece wheels, in the event of a rim section being damaged by an impact at the track or on the road, they can be easily repaired.

They can be supplied in traditional 4, 5 or 6 bolt mounting or centrelock fitments.

Large brake caliper and brake disk setups can be accommodated, with proper caliper clearance to ensure proper tolerances and to improve brake cooling.

In terms of safety standards and racing standards testing, Gibson Road Race wheels:

- carry full SFI Foundation racing safety approval

- have passed the Society of Automotive Engineers SAE International tests (with a test result double the SAE J238 test standard)

- have passed the stringent German Technischer Uberwachungs-Verein (TUV) requirements for cornering and fatigue and

- have also passed the critical Society of Automotive Engineers SAE International cornering fatigue tests

... with testing carried out by an independent automotive testing organisation.

You can expect the Gibson Road Race Wheels to be very light in 16" and 17" diameters.

An 18 x 10 inch Gibson Road Racing Wheel weighs under 18 lbs kg (8.6 kg).

Yet still passed the SAE J238 cornering and fatigue test - with a test result of double the SAE J238 test standard.

I'll check with the factory on Monday on the weights for 16 x 7.5 and 17 x 17.5.

Hi All,

Today we received these photos from Gibson Racing Wheels of the latest set of their custom made wheels that have just been completed.

The customer these wheels are going to is going to be absolutely stoked with them.

These wheels are the Gibson Directional Double-Hat I-Beam model, with grey anodized centres, polished rim halves, and stainless steel fasteners.

Titanium fasteners are also available for these wheels.
