I can't decide which of these to get for my next bike:

Triumph Daytona 675
Honda CBR600RR
Suzuki GSX-R750

I've done plenty of research but it's really hard to pick one of them. Anything to sway me would help.

the 675 would be my pic if its gonna be for a daily bike, the gearing is a lot more street friendly unlike most of the super sports.

The 750 would be my pic for weekends and track days.

I'd go the Daytona too. Ride them all and see for yourself

Daytona for its torque and is a tad more exclusive then the jap bikes :)

I have test rode all of those bikes save for the gixxer 750.

I'm leaning towards the Triumph for the same reasons. But all of the good colours are advertised at around $1k-3k more than the shitty grey ones.

As for the CBR, I found it's midrange (for a 600cc I4) and handling pretty good. Its price is pretty good too. But it just doesn't match triumph for street riding and cool factor.

Ive ridden both a 675 and CBR600 and own a Gix600.

675- Gorgeous, torquey, cramped. Will hurt for a daily or long rides
CBR- Didnt like the way it responded to throttle inputs and something about the handling ust didnt sit right with me.
Gix600- Smooth power delivery and controlled handling.

It'd be a close one between the 675 and 750 for me if it was a weekend toy

I would pick the Daytona, it sounds the best IMO out of them too..

But that's my choice ...

I've ridden both a triumph 675 and a gixxer 750, and I own an '07 CBR600RR... If you're using it to commute, i'd reccomend a cbr600 as it's seating position is less aggressive and it's very easy to ride, but if it's going to be a weekend or track bike go for the gixxer 750... it's quicker than both a 675 and a 600, less cramped and fuel cons. is about the same...

I might be selling my cbr600rr soon, so let me know if you're looking for one.. its a 2006 model, exhaust, custom pearl paint, oggy knobs, power commander, k&n air filter, pazzo levers, bar ends, spools, etc

I thought the riding position on GSXR is less aggressive than CBR600 :/

I rode my mates '07 gixxer 750 the other day, and found myself sitting further forward and much closer to the tank than i would on my cbr

Ok so I've just had a chance to test the gixxer750 the other day...

I think all that stuff on riding position and power everyone said is pretty accurate.

In terms of handling, I'd have to say that you can definitely feel the weight of the gixxer between your legs. I haven't looked up the weight of the bikes, but the CBR600RR and daytona 675 are more nimble and feel lighter than the gixxer 750.

It really depends on you, I have ridden all three bikes before and I prefer the Daytona 675, in my opinion, it looks better, its more exclusive on the road and it feels right when I ride it, as I am not very tall

Im thinking of selling my daytona 675, 06 model, Red, 14XXXkm's on the clock.
has invis-shield on it ( all panels have a contact to stop scratches and chips ) put a Street Triple 1050 throttle on it and have a rad guard installed.
Gets washed every week and chain lubed if needed, pm me if your interest.
Steve.
its not on the market ( bikesales yet ) was going to take some better pics and throw it up this weekend.

also guys just something to note, i think it's easier to sell a GSXR/CBR second hand than a triumph... Maybe something to keep in mind

During the rainy weekend I bought a K7 GSX-R750 to cheer myself up.

Ideally, I would have preferred a Daytona 675 but I just couldn't justify paying an extra 1-2 grand for better colours like the blue, gold and red.

The 2010 ZX6R was the first 600cc I test rode and it was an amazing bike (maybe because it was the first non-LAMS bike I rode properly). But because this iteration only came out in 2009 I couldn't find any for cheap. I didn't want to go for the earlier versions because they look lifeless on paper.

It was then down to the CBR600RR and the gixxer750. I just picked up the first one in good condition that was selling for a decent price that I came across.

I have to say, I would've been pretty happy with any of those bikes. It would be an understatement to say that bikes have come a long way since the CBR250RR. Kinda reminds me of the difference between a NSR150 and CBR250.

Pretty fuckn good. I'm still getting used to the power.

Any of the 1000cc Japanese sports bikes will put a grin on your face. The gixxer has a pretty sexy instrument cluster though :)
