Was driving home 2day and a taxi cut me off and i had 2 swerve 2 avoid hitting him (although it would have been his fault) and i was surounded by traffic and he slammed the brakes and i kinda bumped the curb....

do u think there will be any damage ? only got a slight scratch on the o/s rear (passanger side).... although car has plenty of gutter rash already from previous owner....

will most likely only need a wheel alignment now... but will be getting that done this week after my coilovers are installed on saturday :)

car was driving fine afterwards and i gave it a inspection and 2 me seems fine...

i really just whant 2 hear that the car will be fine and only needs a wheel alignment :P

thanx guyz (FUKN TAXI DRIVERS !!!!)

i did the same thing before i got my liscence in my mums car only difference is i was driving irresponsibly in the wet....

had a service couple weeks later and they couldnt tell... only thing the mechanics could see was the spare wheel had gone...

just get an alaignment done if your getting the coilovers in wait till then and get it alaigned afterwards

wouldnt hurt to check the wheel bearing for play tho

when the car is jacked up lock the steering place your hands on the said wheel at 9 and 3 o'clock try pulling forwards and back with opposite hands then do 12 and 6 oclock if there is any play the wheel bearing will need replacing

if theres play it could be tie rod ends as well as steering rack bushes.
if its lightly bumped kurb there shouldnt be any problems.
even if there the steering arm is bent a tiny bit it is usually negligible and a wheel alignment will sort it out.
