View Full Version : Nobbsy's S13 Silvia
My car is a 1993 model S13 Silvia Q's (that's the 2.0l non-turbo model for those uninitiated in silvia lingo).
Her name is stacey and I bought her essentially stock in 2005. Since then we have had a long and passionate relationship, involving a few mods, one accident (some dumbass ran a red light) and lots and lots of driving, to the extent that she has now done 206,000km (40,000 of them mine) which I feel is quite a lot for a silvia, howevere she is still going strong and enthusiastic.
Stacey loves: 98-RON though she's not too fussy about brands, regular oil and filter changes, getting to use the garage sometimes, curves, stew's new hachi
Stacey hates: Bumpy roads, my girlfriend (i think she feels jealous, its a mutual thing), hondas
To start with heres a photo taken about a month or two after I bought her:
(check out the squat on stock suspension :))

I love S13s, always have. There's so many horrible examples around with shit wheels and shit wings and shit bodykits, but when you find one that's nice and clean and black and well looked after, they're a great looking car. Very understated, nothing special at all about the design, but still so damn nice.

Quick opinion check, thinking of painting my rims satin black, as in not quite gloss, to contrast a bit, either that or just repaint then white as they have a fair bit of gutter rash on them...so, question is...white or satin black...
leave them how they are.. they look good chris... or just to the back ones black..
I'm torn. I reckon black would give the car a more no bullshit look, but the whites pretty hot...
come out tonight stew. You know you wanna...

black on black looks good for a while, but you learn to get over it. Especially if your car is dirty, it just looks shithouse

most budget wakie day ever!!!

Ok...so i have weighed up my options and am seriously considering giving in to the dark side of positive manifold pressure. (some damned fool in a red corolla that dosed me was the final straw :P)...bearing in mind that i am a poor uni student i have a few options.
1. Hectic DIY ghetto turbo conversion
- Buy a DET bottom end
-Whack my DE head on it
-Scrounge around in a mate's garage for manifolds, loom and ECU
-Assemble &voila
2. Swap-Out Conversion
-Buy a full DET
-Flog the DE to a p plater or some fool with a datto
- Put in new motor
3. Expensive but awesome option
- Save up rots of dorra
-Buy a wrecked s15
-Hecticness will ensue

just do a ghetto turbo conversion on the n/a motor use some sort of piggyback to give it more fuel and control the timing
high comp turbo oooh yeah
turbo the n/a, run bout 6-8psi, get a fuel reg and flood it...
i was thinking about it, but bolting my head onto a DET bottom end makes more sense, then i have DET compression and all the holes for oil and water feed are already there, plus the piston cooling, then i can just run stock DET management no probs, but have a slightly more aggressive cam profile
Plus, Its probably about time i did an minor overhaul on my motor and preemptively do they headgasket and timing chain as its done 220,000ks now on the original (as far as i can tell) motor. Also i could clean up my head a bit while its out.
seriously if your going to go to that extent your better off selling your silvia and buying an allready turboed one
for what your talking about its going to be a $5K-$6K kinda thing

the only parts i need to BUY are a working bottom end (few hundred), and an intercooler kit, (+ timing chain if i want to) everything else i can scrounge, surely it would be pretty hard to spend the remaining 4-5000 in labour. Also selling my car and buying another brings about a whole host of new problems, in that firstly i have to sell mine, then i have to find a silvia worth buying. Then there's the mods i'll want to do to the new one to bring it to the level of the old one. Then i still have a new car with its own set of teething issues. In my book better the devil i know
Lol Nobbsy i've got your solution right here:
1. ITB's hauled off GTi-R
2. 264 deg. intake/exhaust cams (tomei/hks)
3. Valvetrain (valves, springs, retainers, etc...)
4. fresh bottom end
5. Pistons & rods
6. (really 2nd, but w/e) aftermarket management system
= no more $$ and big grin

trust me shit like this costs money surley you will be replacing gaskets water pump etc etc while your there so you dont run into a multitude of issues later down the track? its all the little things that add up im just giving you my $0.02 what you do is up to you
if you think you can get it done for $1000 then by all means give it a crack
i admit its not going to cost as little as i think it will in my head i just though 5 grand seemed like a lot

believe me i have wasted a lot of time daydreamign about a setup like this and money being no object i would have done it. Problem is any real sort of NA modification is goign to require aftermarket management. As you have already pointed out

Wonder if those upper control arms you got for the front would work on my 33? :D
Have you thought about doing something similar to dumhead's motor build in his

theres an idea... still probably a bit of fucking round with the wiring but nothing a few days with a wiring diagram and a test light cant fix

If we get a bunch of people together we can "borrow" Magnet's. I'm sure he wont mind.

i've taken a good hard look at andrew's setup, and had a chat to him about it. it'd still end up costing more than a turbo setup, though it would have bucket loads more cool and would idle sexily

but if i'm going to go to all the effort of changing the motor, i'd want it to go a fair bit faster...a stock s15 motor seems like a massive effort for not all that much gain...

SR20VE is a great motor, but for RWD all you can really use is the head. Using the block is too much pissing about.
VE head will go onto a DE or DET block, but you have to dick about with oil feeds and you also need to get a custom plenum made as the DE or DET one won't bolt to the VE head and the VE one faces the wrong way.
If anyone was ever going to do it, they'd be far better off using the P12 head as opposed to the P11 one, as it gets bigger cams plus a few other things that i forget.
single cam gives much better dose.. even in NA fashion,
what is actually wrong with ur motor nobbsy.. is aint dead yet.. just keep treating it as nicely as you have been and think about all this when you blow it up

Someone has probably mentioned something simialar in the last few pages but DE+T is a good thing:
High compression plus turbo is a good thing, super response :).
The DE motor (especially the lower compression S13 one) will take a fair ammount of boost (over 1.1 bar in fact) with some level of reliablity. If you push it hard it's basically down to the quality of your cooling and the quality of your tune (especially the tune!). Oh and the quality of the guy driving it and reading the temp gauges :). It's actually quite a common thing to do. If you want to know more about PLMS (no I don't sell them, but they are a good piece of kit that does all the shiz a PFC does for none of the cost) stuff then drop me a PM.
The DE engine is basically the same as the DET in many ways, including the block casting, the head and so on. Differences are in these areas:
Cams (the DE ones are better!)
Valves (the DE ones aren't sodium filled)
Pistons (the DE ones are higher comp duh)
Oil squirters (the DE doesn't have any installed, no big deal)
So my 2c on what to do:
Buy a T25G or T28 plus turbo manifold (i'll give you a stock one if you like) plus cheap dump and frontpipe you can afford. Cheapo catback whatever.
Buy a cheapo front mount intercooler kit, or a stock intercooler piping setup and an ARC sidemount (I like those things!).
Buy some injectors, S15 injectors and a walbro fuel pump.
Next howto:
Two options, the first is engine out.
1) Remove engine
2) Drill oil/water holes in the block, and swap the pipe behind the motor to the turbo one with the water feed line coming off it. Bolt the turbo on using OEM DET lines.
3) Re install engine along with turbo exhaust/cooler gubbins.
4) Put in a bigger fuel pump, injectors of choice etc.
5) PLMS realtime tune for your stock ECU. Will cost $300 or so to modify the ECU plus dyno time.
6) Enjoy NA off boost performance and turbo on boost performance with excellent response.
Second option:
1) Buy a bunch of earl's fittings and bizzo.
2) Plumb your turbo oil feed into the oil pressure sender hole (next to the oil filter) and run it around the engine. Run the water off the heater hoses. Remove the steel sump section and have an oil return added to it. Baffle the oil return to stop aerated oil from your turbo going straight up the pickup.
3) Install turbo using above gubbins plus intercooler etc.
4) Put in a bigger fuel pump, injectors of choice etc.
5) PLMS realtime tune for your stock ECU. Will cost $300 or so to modify the ECU plus dyno time.
6) Enjoy NA off boost performance and turbo on boost performance with excellent response.
This is the last one I did, $300 for the engine, the rest of the stuff I already had (the only reason I'm running a DET loom etc i that this engine replaced a dead DET, the DE loom/ECU etc is just fine for the swap). Obviously this is the engine out option. All the holes were drilled and tapped by hand. This engine made 168rwkw on 7psi (the previous DET actually made 168rwkw on 16psi, the dynamic compression ratio of the DET at 16psi and the DE at 7psi are actually nearly identical!!). This engine didn't have a full tune like I'm recommending but it's still alive and kicking after some hefty drifting fun at my hands and life with the two owners after me. Around 3 years so far :).
EDIT: A usefull tip, when drilling the block you don't have to take it apart to clean if you are extra carefull! A good idea is to block any access the atmosphere has to the oily parts of your engine (ie the rocker cover breathers etc) and pressurise the inside of the engine via the dipstick tube while you drill ever so slowly. We drilled a bit, did all the tapping and whatever THEN broke though into the galleries afterwards. The oil return is down low onthe engine so you can access the rear side of it by removing the aluminium sump. All good, 3 years on the engine is still faultless :).

After a long time Stacey has finally made it out to wakie again. In the mean time i have been a few times in another s13 (shhhh don't tell her...she doesn't know). Also punted mum's mazda3 around for a few laps (shhh don't tell her...she doesn't know)
Went down on tuesday night with Modified and Anchor and Kylie. It was a very loud journey (see special thanks note 1).

At the end of the day Stacey was a very happy girl. We put down a 1:15.63 together on street tyres. The only thing that disappointed her a little was that there were no hondas to munch :)
Special thanks goes to:

"Oil squirters (the DE doesn't have any installed, no big deal)"
oil squirters are very good interms of cooling down pistons hence why they use them in the det's
just a thought less piston temp = less pinging = MORE BOOST!
nebuchernezzer
25-05-08, 09:51 AM
Of course they have a purpose.
However the lack of them on the DE doesn't seem to affect their performance as a boosted engine at all.
My opinion is that they make such a tiny difference that it doesn't really matter that much in the end. Factors like good cooling (decent rad/oil cooler), a decent tuner and an eagle eye on your gauges are much bigger factors in the real world is my feeling.
Especially the gauges and the tuner. If the tune is good and you don't let it overheat then things are just peachy :).
There are developments brewing off-stage right... details to follow in the next few weeks

Joining the big leagues, Knobbsy :P
Good luck :)
You will require the following tools.
-Sockets
-Jack
-Stands
-Pliers
-Ring Spanners
-Hammer
-Breaker Bar (or substitute)
-Torque Wrench
-A flat head screwdriver
Tools you don't really need but I ended up having to use anyway
-Stick Welder
Step 1
Remove the rear cradle from the donor car.
http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/9425/img0489oi5.jpg
Now I know some of you just sprained your vaginas at the brevity of this instruction,
but think about this for a second. We are doing a SWAP here people so the removal
of the cradle from the important car will be well documented.
Step 2
Jack up the vehicle...
http://img412.imageshack.us/img412/4784/img0490am9.jpg
and make sure it is well secured on jackstands with the front whells chocked (the location pictured works pretty well)
http://img511.imageshack.us/img511/6129/img0497tq4.jpg
Then remove the rear wheels and the exhaust...
http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/949/img0491lj2.jpg
And place them to one side
http://img523.imageshack.us/img523/1489/img0492am2.jpg
Step 3: Removing the struts
Undo the little bolts that hold the struts in in the boot... (see appendix 1)
http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/2581/img0493lf1.jpg
You may need to climb inside to do this...
http://img523.imageshack.us/img523/6114/img0515rm6.jpg
Remove the large bolt at the bottom of the strut...
http://img523.imageshack.us/img523/4002/img0494ec7.jpg
Then hit the strut with a soft "mallet'o'love" till it falls out...
http://img264.imageshack.us/img264/4748/img0495xe0.jpg
Remove struts and place them wherever you left the wheels.
Step 4 Disconnecting the tailshaft
It helps for this bit to have a mate present
Put the car in first gear and crawl under the car with either a 12 or 14mm spanner
(I can't remember which, I think it's 14) You are looking to remove the four bolts
that connect the tailshaft to the diff. Remove the one or two that you can get to
then get your assistant to put the cra in neutral so you can turn the shaft to gain
acess to another bolt. Put the car back in first. Repeat as necessary till it looks
like this...
http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/6536/img0474ye1.jpg
Step 5: Disconnecting the brakes and handbrake
Undo the brake lines from the caliper making sure you have something to catch
the brake fluid in as it will drip everywhere  ...
http://img520.imageshack.us/img520/3482/img0510tq4.jpg
DO NOT lose the copper crush washers, there are TWO on each banjo bolt, one
on each side... They look like this...
http://img516.imageshack.us/img516/3529/img0512lo7.jpg
Disconnecting the handbrake is a PITA, there is a retaining clip which is usually
quite stubborn, and must be worked out using a combination of getting under
the lip of it with a screwdriver and working it out with pliers. When it is out it
it looks like this...
http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/2015/img0501rr3.jpg
You can then pull the handbrake cable to give you some slack at the end of it to
take it out of the actuator arm on the hub.
Step 6
You now need to jack the car off the stands and move them further up, off the
cradle and out of the way. Be careful where you put them as some parts of the
rails aren't very strong. Bear in mind also that the car is less stable at this point.
Leaving the car jacked up by the diff undo the 4 large cradle mount bolts....
http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/6771/img0503lm4.jpg
...With a massive pipe while grinning inanely. Make sure you also remove the 2
smaller bolts under each sill on the front mounts that hold bracket under the
mount in place...
http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/8394/img0504ll5.jpg
You now can lower the cradle and it should separate from the car...
http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/9727/img0505tz2.jpg
The handbrake cables are screwed into the cradle, now that it is dropped these
mounts are much easier to get to and undo...
You then wheel the cradle out from underneath the car and get Xero to pose for
a silly photo with both cradles.
http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/371/img0508sy8.jpg
I'll post up how to put it in when I can be bothered to write another massive post
or basically you just do everything listed here in reverse order.
Appendix 1:
How to remove a stripped bolt from the donor car when a previous owner had done a 10mm nut up to over 9000Nm of torque
The nut in question is one of those little ones on the top of the strut...
http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/4849/img0475xk8.jpg
What i originally tried to do was to weld another nut that was bit enough to just
slip over the thread onto the top of it...but firstly it was very hard to get to...and
secondly...I am not that good at arc welding. So all i suceeded in doing was
adding a nice dollop of weld to the side of the nut. This however allowed me to
wedge a screwdriver in there and tap it with a hammer to turn the nut off...
http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/1175/img0477hx2.jpg
YAY!!! (this whole process took about as long as the rest of the cradle removal
put together)
The moral of the story here kids is...if Mr Nissan made the nut small...it doesn't
have to be done up very tight!!!
nice, sorry i couldnt stay... other wise we would have had it all back together in 30 mins.
notice how im also wearing my best work shirt and saf-t-ee boots..

Hey Nobbsy,
Nice pics of your work, looked like you had fun. Was just wondering, what's the new rear cradle you swapping in? Just the turbo s13 rear cradle? any particular reason why? =)
Keep up the great work and pics!
it's the turbo rear cradle, i swapped it because
- It has a nismo 2 way in it
- Adjustable camber and toe arms
- More meat on the rear pads and rotors (yes s13 drivers are that povo)
By the time i took out the arms and swapped the brake assemblies and swapped the diffs and the driveshafts...it was a lot less effort just to leave the rear end assembled and just swap the whole thing
you coulda jsut used clamps on teh brake hoses.......
i did actually catch the fluid in jars so it didn't really go absolutely everywhere

recently OTAKU had this problem, and it turned out there was no power to the ECU.
Stuff I still need to do:
-Get front tyres
-Drop suspension around an inch
-Get a wheel alignment
-Make brackets to hold cooler in place
-Reassemble front bar
-Fit exhaust
-Pump guards
-Drive to auto-sparky and get him to wire up coil relay
-Get a pinkslip
-Pay rego
-Do a dyno run to check AFR and knock

I did a S13 engine conversion previously and came across this problem aswell.
If you're still having problems with spark, the problem should lie within the coilpack/igniter power supply as NA's don't have coilpacks/igniter therefore don't have the corresponding power wire in the chassis loom.
To do a quick test, go to the engine wiring loom plugs (under the airbox) and see if the thick blue wire with red stripe has a matching wire on the other side of the plug (chassis loom side). It shouldn't as your chassis loom is a NA loom. Now what you do is cut the blue/red wire out of the plug and grab a wire of matching gauge thickness to the blue/red wire to make an extension and hardwire it to + terminal on the battery for testing. Now try and crank the car.
If this test works let me know and I will show you how to wire it up properly using a relay.

sick as... Spoke to him today... gonna go and raid some exhaust mounts off him, and take the car for a drive... Apparently it goes mad well anchor.
yeh, i already tried to wire in a relay, couldn't get it to trigger properly, i have just
hardwired it for now, but will be taking it to an autosparky soonto get that done,
also to get the boost controller wired up.
Went and got a pinkie and rego and a wheel alignment yesterday. Car goes
sweeeet as. Still need to get BC wired and also dyno run done to check AFRs
Car alignment specs are as follows
FRONT
Castor : 7.5 deg
Camber: -2.5deg
Toe: -0.5mm per side (1mm total toe out)
REAR
Camber: -0.5deg
Toe: 0.5mm per side (1mm toe in total)
I'll see how that goes as a base. May run a little more neg on the rear and a little
more toe out and possibly more castor on the front.
Need to get new tyres when pay comes through as well
just gets tastyer and tastyer
The guy at jobson's looked at me a bit funny when i asked for two and a half
degrees of neg...then i showed him the shoulder of the tyre fron alan's wakie day
and he was like....hmmm fair enough

Where's the rest? I run more than this on my rears.
defected already before i even had a chance to engineer it
Well a whoole lot of stuff is listed as "to comply"
which I assume means "To comply with ADRs"
Then they have listed a bunch of stuff some of it I get, some I don't
For example "air filter to comply" I get because i haven't had a chance to make up
a cover for it yet and under ADRs filters must be enclosed
But stuff like "front mounted intercooler to comply" i don't understand because as
far as i am aware there is nothing in ADR's stipulating that an intercooler may not
be mounted at the front of the car...
Meh i'll just have a chat to an engineer

poor wallaby :(
It never had a chance, decided to cross the road on the other side of a blind corner
forget braking, I don't think I even had time to lift off the accellerator
So my week full of cruddy luck continues...
A kamikaze wallaby decided on a really bad time and place to cross the road.
Damage:
1xBroken headlight
1xBent front bar
1xBent cooler
1xBroken indicator
Bonnet out of aligment
1xBroken Wallaby

What did you break on your headlight?
If it was a twin square style headlight I'm after some reflectors and stuff to repair my own twin square lights :).
Nah, it's a triple projector
Random musings on the first month of turbro...
So Stacey and I have been getting to know one another all over again, now
that she is a new woman and all. It has had its highs and lows as any relationship
does but I'll share some details of our private life here...
The first drive
Back around the end of November, I finally got her turned on and so with a bit of a
chug, out of the driveway we went...and I'll have to admit...the first time I put my
foot down I giggled like a little schoolgirl. A glorious honeymoon period followed
including lots of dosing and giggling. The only two events marring this were firstly
that Stacey's nemesis (the missus) was completely unappreciative of the transformation
that had occurred, and just complained that it was louder and bumpier and clunkier
than before...bitch and secondly that Mr Plod, our friendly friend at HWP was
completely unappreciative of the transformation that had taken place, and just
complained that it was BOVier and lower than before.
Buisness as usual
Things are starting to get back to normal now...but we have racked up quite a few
kays while exploring Stacey's augmentation. Highlights include Gosford, Stanwell Park,
Myall Lakes and Blackheath. Its been AWESOME...I heart boost
The call of the mountain
There comes a time in every car enthusiast's life when you feel the call of the mountain
it is best not to ignore it as otherwise it will haunt you forever...even if it is at 11pm
so I didn't....I rang anchor and modified and we met at Mount Victoria a bit after twelve...
and drove to Mount Panorama....
This is by far and away the strangest public road I have ever been on its just like being
on a track...pitlane, ripple strips sandtraps....then suddenly BANG a letterbox and a driveway
IN THE MIDDLE OF CONROD STRAIGHT! Stacey was a little disappointed though at being curtailed
to 60kmh...you can just tell when she wants to go faster...mental note, book
into hillclimb.
Appenix A - Fuel consumption
Fuel economy...bizarrely has barely changed!!!, have no explanation, but doing the maths
on a mix of city, highway and mountain driving, has consistently worked out around the
9.5L/100km mark

hahaha
Great to hear your enjoying boost Nobbsy. What boost levels are you running? I found in the S14, with boost levels running off actuator, the car was returning 9-10L/100KM.
Still running standard boost off the actuator as well. Hooking up ebc soon so we'll see how that changes then

do you have any of the factory boost solenoids in place, or is the actuator driven straight off the throttle body? What boost are you getting?
I've been told the stock actuator is only 4psi, which is why im getting ~6psi with exhaust+FMIC (my actuator is straight off the TB, supposedly the solenoids give you an extra 3psi-ish)
I'm not running any of the stock soleniods and its making about 6psi most of the
time, creeping up to 7 or 8 at higher RPM as I think the internal wastegate is
running out of puff. I think the reason the actuator is only 5psi of so is because
the factory ECU limits boost in first gear (rumour). Plan is to get the EBC up and
running with 8psi low and 12-14 high depending on AFRs when I dyno it as I
am still running stock injectors.
Did a bit of fiddling around today. Changed Oil and filter, flared out the rear guard a
bit where it had been rubbing on the tire. Changed the diff oil (messy, stinky PITA)
Went and got a quote for some kumho ku36s in 215/45/16 came out at $198 a
corner! I really hope they honour that price when i can get the day off to order
them and they didn't just accidentally quote me their cost.

mate as far a low boost in first from the ecu...
mine had a small elec pug and sensor on the box on the higher passanger side, and that's what triggers it... not sure if u have n/a box or what not but have a lil look see. :P
My factory boost soleniod is not hooked up though, so it won't do anything. I'm just
running the actuator straight off the throttlebody so it'll be running the lower boost
setting in every gear. Except when the wastegate isn't big enough to hold the
boost down to 6psi, then it creeps up to 7 or 8.

Well, I'm happy to know that you've got the exact same symptoms (and cause!) as me.
I guess an EBC will have our cars ripping up the tarmac properly. 1bar makes a ridiculous difference. (heck, 10psi is extremely noticeable over 7psi).
FYI, I went back to a black sileighty because I missed my old black S13 silvia too much - I can see why youve got Stacey<3 >.<

Will do nobs, glad to hear you have found true love
So my water pump decided to shit itself the other day...in Springwood of all places
Temp gauge started to climb, pulled over, puddle of coolant starts to form under the car.
Called the friendly chaps down at the NRMA to discover they will tow me 20km, decided
to use this tow to get me where I was going. Came back a day later with a trailer and picked
Stacey up from Leura. Went and bought a waterpump from nissan (a suprisingly reasonable
....for nissan parts anyway $104.30) got home and got to work...only to discover that the
water pump kit does not include the studs to bolt the pulley back on
nobbsy, it should of come with the studs.... anyways you can pull the studs from your old pump with 2 nuts tight together and some wd40.. thats what i did when I stripped one replacing the water pump on the skyline
yeh i thought of that...after i destroyed them trying to get them out with vice grips
Dammit...mah zorst fell off again...in Exeter, i drove all the way home with drone last night...
fuck my life
Oh...and I hit an owl of all creatures, it did leave a pretty cool print on the car
though so I might leave it for a bit.

you LOVE IT!
Well, I did.
Stacey <3
I loved it till I started driving home then suddenly it dawned on me that I wouldn't
be home till about 5am. I wonder if modified made it to work?

Ark, I managed to fall asleep on the drive from yours last night. Surprised me when I woke up.
also, your Sil80 = mint!! toothpaste mint!!
EDIT: yeh nobbs, made it. Started at 8, got here at 940 lol
Solid effort, it was a struggle getting up for uni, a nice long shower and a cup of coffee seems to have patched me up though.

it looked like a rabbit til it flew at us, haha
BAHAHAH I laugh at hondaboys...
I just made a bigger power gain by pushing a button than you did with your entire b18 swap!!!
details and pics to follow :)
Stacey and I had a bit of a serious chat last night.
It turns out that she has a problem with addiction. We decided that it would be
better for our relationship if we could find some sort of way to regulate her habits of
consumption to say 9 or 12 psi at any one time.

I now wonder why i wasted so much time with trying to screw power out of an
NA motor. Its not that i didn't like the way the NA drove or sounded... occasionally i
still even prefer it. But anyone who claims they felt a massive difference in the
power of their NAmobile when they put a pod filter on it has clearly never taken
the time to switch a boosted motor from 5 to 12 psi.....that mon cheri is a
very noticable difference on the butt dyno.
Real dyno results and AFR check when I can find the time to take her to a workshop

I like the stealthy install of the boost related items.
I wonder what kind of power figures she will make.
I really need to make the transition from na to boost.
