View Full Version : SKY 303 - S2 R33 blacked out!

Hi everybody, I have always enjoyed viewing this forum so I have joined up and thought I would share my car with you.

It is a 1997 series 2 r33, I have had it for 2.5 years. I got it with 102,XXXkms, it had minimal mods; 16" bronze TE37s, exhaust, CD/TV/DVD, strut brace, pod filter, tint, etc.

I always knew how I wanted the car to look, all black! I wanted a set of Bee*R 5 spokes but I got Nismo GT4's instead (easier to get), they were originally white, they looked ok but I always wanted black. I have done more to the car, see the spec list below. I have a few body parts at home (type m sideskirts and GTR style rear pods) to make the car look lower without having to lower it further. I like the car but I have stopped spending money on doing it up as I figure I should just save and buy a GTR. If i do get some $$$ or have a memory lapse I will finish it and fulfill the image I have in my head of what it should look like. Enjoy, cheers.

1997 Type M R33 Series 2 manual.

Wheels: Nismo GT4's 18x9.5 & 18x8.5, Federal 265s and 235s
Brakes: Standard calipers, QFM pads, RDA grooved rotors front, DBA 4000 grooved rotors rear.
Suspension: Greddy Type S coilovers with electronic cabin adjust, ISC HICAS lock bar, adjustable ISC rear camber arms, I removed the Apexi strut bar to clear the Greddy motor suspension adjusters.
Engine: dynoed for ~180rwkw, Pod filter with perspex airbox, HDI intercooler 100mm, Apexi dump and front pipe, hi flow cat, 3 inch universal exhaust, Greddy Profec BII boost controller & Greddy turbo timer. I'm not sure if the clutch is stock?
Interior: Greddy boost guage, Short shift gear shift, Nismo gear knob, new leather gear lever and handbrake surround.
ICE: Kenwood touch screen with Radio, CD, TV & DVD, TV tuner, 6x9s in the rear and 6" in the doors with tweeters.
Exterior: Stock except the wheels and lowering, I have moved the number plate to the side(!) and as I said I have some body parts but I'm not too fussed about putting them on. I painted the intercooler and piping black, brakes were done gold by the previous owner, the tint is dark.

The photos aren't the best, also they make it look a little high (It is lowered but to a practical height!).

Thanks everyone^^^^ Appreciate it.

Looks good.
Future plans?

Thanks, as for future plans I will fit up the sideskirts, pods and a drift lip type spoiler stuff I have in the garage. If i get a bit crazy I will wind the coilovers down a bit, pair of Brides, then some more engine work; Power FC, injectors, turbo GTRS (?), get it tuned, etc I wont crack the engine open, not worth it on the GTS-t, even though I do love it...will see what happens... sometimes you dont plan that stuff or I could just black out a 34 GTR and go to town on that engine thats the real future plan :)
