[Hokkaido] Shasai Car Show, 24 July 2011

So on my trip to Hokkaido I decided to drop by to something called Shasai - billed as an "all genre car show" just outside Shin-Chitose airport, to see what was going on in the modification scene over there. I expected the cars there to be not that different to what's at a JDMST EOMM...

Yeah, I immediately fixated on that mighty little thing as well, and since I've seen others like it on the internet decided to see where it comes from...

Turns out that it's a kit by a company called Ginya Kobo in the Yamanashi prefecture - with the grille, bumpers, spoilers, rear panel, flared wheel arches and other goodies all made by them.
