Hey, been around here for a while so thought I might throw up a build thread.

Had a 2003 STi that I sold to a user on Rexnet. Number plates were EVLSTI.



Then I went and bought myself an 06 STi off another on Rexnet with some mods.

Go fast mods:

- Purpose built motor and clutch,
- FP Green HTA turbo,
- Process West TMIC,
- 3" TXS turboback
- GT Spec EL Headers
- Custom 3" CAI
- High-flowed SARD 650CC injectors
- Walbro fuel pump
- Genuine JDM Auto water-spray setup

Dixcel Slotted Rotors Front & Rear
Dixcel M-Pads
Racecomp Engineering (RCE) Yellow Springs
Whiteline Front Large Strut Tower Brace
Cusco Rear Strut Brace
Whiteline Front Adjustable Sway Bar 24 mm (Hard)
Whiteline Rear Adjustable Sway Bar 24 mm (Medium)
Whiteline Rear Swaybar Mount- Heavy Duty kit
Whiteline Strut top-camber/caster off-set
Whiteline Camber Bolts – Rear
Whiteline Roll Center Kit
Whiteline Anti Lift kit – Sport
Whiteline Plus Gearbox Crossmember Pad
Whiteline Plus Diff Support Outrigger
TiC Diff Mount Bushings (Race)
Alignment -2 F&R, 5.5 Degrees Caster, 0 Toe

Power is 239 kw atw


After a couple of runs at WSID and some changing between ECUs that I had I managed to run this:

This was on a 33 degree Sunday.

12.353 @ 115mph

Future mods:

- Deatschwerks fuel pump
- 1000CC ID Injectors
- Removal of ECUTeK and retune by MSR.
- E85 tune in two weeks.

What tyre pressiure you using for such quater mile duties

Cheers mate.

Next step after E85 tune is headwork. There is plenty left in the turbo but with 11mm head studs and the risk of lifting heads I don't want to run more than ~22PSI.

Lol. so many people picked on that song. Truth is, I think it was the radio.

Knew someone would ask about the tyres so updated the first post. They're KU36 in 225/45/17. Wouldn't run anything else.

such a nice 06, its got all the good bits.

nice 1/4 time. sounds like it bogged just a bit, maybe ride the clutch just a tad more

Thanks mate. Bogged it pretty hard. Shame because just before that I got a 1.701 60 footer.

Next run with E85, I'll aim for another 1.7
