View Full Version : Egfouuuuuuur update

Okay, apologies for this thread being so boring before. I've now returned with a fresh mindset, and brighter idea for my eg4 civic, so stay posted for hopefully monthly updates of goodness.

Currently the car stands on a set of 16" Roh wheels, obtained by the previous owner, However I'm over them, I'd like to give the car a fresh set of wheels, not entirely sure I'd like yet, because I want something different and that you don't see on a civic often/at all, if you have any idea's please feel free to let me know. I have purchased a Mugen style front lip, which has been fitted to the car for a few months, I will update the photo's of it within a week or two. I've also put a 3" cannon tip on it (ready to be flamed), I know it is a cliche' thing to 'Rice' up a car, however I was a little impatient and decided to get it. I've also taken off the resonator, which sometimes snaps necks, or gets me hated on (generally the older people).

Since I bought the car, towards the end of last year, I have always thought of it as just being my first car, and not really taking car of it as I should have been, however after watching the Mighty Car Mods question and answer video, and listening to Marty and Moog explain their views on the current car scene in Australia, and why they do it, it inspired me to teach myself how to do things myself to the car, and have fun with my friends while I do it. Since my 'epiphany' (if i must), I've decided to take the time to start again, and do everything right this time.

As I said, I hope to have monthly updates of the progress being made. Also, if anybody is a regular on princess hwy of a friday night, feel free to pm me (need more jdm cars out there). Thanks for reading :)

Thank you :)

Well, for now, I'm happy to have anything so it will be a slow build, but eventually I would like it to be hardparker, I want to do something that isn't done to often, turn heads, in the right way.

Once I have wired the sub in, going to tint the windows, hopefully anyway. It's currently at the mechanic's, getting the roadworthy done.

Sorry for the late update,
Thus far I have finished paying off car entirely, and have begun the 'Clean Up', which as the title states, making everything nice again, which I'm sure will be a long process (small factors need to be fixed, like scratches on the centre console). The sub will be getting connected shortly into the new year, also will be the window tint. Hopefully next update will have some photo's!

Been awhile since I've updated. Not much new, put a Mugen style front lip and sub is installed, oh and also put a cannon tip on it. Slowly getting there... Pictures to come!

Waiting on a friend to get more photo's of it soon, best I could come up with. Wheels are being painted matte black next week, then I'll probably keep it as is so I can save for a WRX!

Neat dude, gl with what you have planned!

No way, I say stay with the EG... I have always wanted one, will probably buy one in a few years for a track car (my WRX will stay a hardparker :P )

Update -

One of my friends, accidently/stupidly reversed into me. Decided to replace the bar and start from scratch, which has given me a blank canvas to build on, which I have some plans for, hopefully within the next month I will have progress photo's of my plan :D

good luck with it man, first up a set of coilovers, so handy and completely change the feel of a car, then a rear swaybar, same again, youll love the handling then just make it individual as you can, not much that you arent going to be "copying" with civics, and if it is different a bunch of s15 owners will still bag you anyway, just enjoy it :)

Put the new bar on last night, can't decide if I should get it painted, or stickerbomb it, to be alittle different..

And also got a type r gear knob.
