I have owned this car for nearly 2 years now and have driven it for probably 2 weeks tops.

Story goes, I bought the car with a suspected bung AFM, drove it home, switched it over with another Z32, still ran like crap, booked it in for a tune, turned out the fuel pump was not mounted in its cradle properly, so it was shorting out on the cradle, finally killing the pump.
A new pump, new plugs and a tune later, it was making 225rwkw on 10psi with only mild mods.. after a week of fairly trouble free commuting to work, i was driving up a gentle hill when the knock light started going off its dick, looked at the knock reading on the power FC and it read 165! shortly after it started running on 5 and stalling.. I knew I was boned..

After the car becoming a nice garden ornament for 6 months I decided to do something about it, so I ripped the motor out and started weighing up my options.. replacement RB26 or rebuild, but then another spanner was thrown in the works when I found out I was expecting a son.
The car became a motorless garden ornament for another 6 months whilst all my cash went towards the baby.

My son was born 3 months premature and didn't make it, so I decided to build something special in his honour..

Neat looking 32 mate.

I think I saw this on eBay when I was looking at buying a 32 about 6 months ago ?

Nice.

Those R34 N1 turbos would spool up super quick with an RB30 bottom end, are you planning to go with something bigger later on? GT-R's are a never ending money pit, but damn they are fantastic when they are working. I still want to own a R32 GT-R at some point in my life.

Sorry to hear about your Son mate, I know exactly how you feel. My Son passed away after just short of 5 days of life back in August, he was also 3 months premature. It still hurts like hell but having other things to focus on certainly helps.

So when are you going to chuck some 2530s on there and make some real power to suit that motor.

been looking at the garrett GTX range, I think a 35/40 would go nicely, but at the moment I just want to get it running before i start going bigger
