Is this the car Dale built (edit- Guess so, says his name on the dyno sheet) ? I think that's his name?? Anyway, nice car. I have always been a fan of the Nissan Pulsar, need to see more built for track rather than looks. Very under appreciated car!

IMO, leave the wheels as is, no colour change or spacers. Maybe for the front, to clear a 4 pot caliper upgrade :D Dont worry about GT-R seats, Either some SR3 Recaros, or a pair of Bride's.

To me, that stance is perfect. Loving the wheels!

That parts list is crazy, looks so good wish mine looked that good. Yea the car use to be Dale's, finally somebody brought it. Hope you look after it :)

Any chance you wanna sell the VZ-R lip?

These things are born competitors to the Civic Type R, pave the way for the other Nissan boys and show them that these things can be just as good on the track! Engine is pretty sweet as is, i reckon. Get some wheels and some sticky rubber, then go ape shit on the track! Hahaha

30-12-11, 02:07 AM
holy crap! videos?

30-12-11, 03:39 AM
147 kw! mother of god. Awesome build bro. I love big NA builds !

30-12-11, 08:49 AM
At first i thought it looked so clean and sleek, then bam 147kw. lmao, damn sleeper.

30-12-11, 10:21 AM
Love this thing. This would be the only Poosar I'd like to have.

You running normal SR16VE cams or the N1's? Cause the N1's are 288* on the intake and exhaust, with 11.9mm lift on intake and 12.5mm lift on the exhaust when the cams are switched to high lobe.

thanks for the comments guys, and i plan on goin ape shit as soon as i get the funds to do so, haha. it would be a shit load of fun, mates got a couple of 0-100 vids, ill try get him to put them up this arvo. and im pretty sure they are sr16ve cams, and he had custom cams made up for me which im still very keen on.... :) if everyone saw this on the streets, would you give it a second look? some ppl just laugh and it kinda pisses me off. :(

30-12-11, 11:58 AM
147kw, damn nice.

Series 2 Front Bar and Foggies would nail it looks wise.

Keep it up!

30-12-11, 12:14 PM
Man this thing is tough! I have no idea what they would laugh at. I had a SR16ve/20ve bottom end VZR too. Not a lucino though. I do miss it. Was the best p plater car. Mine was only 121fwkw. Just slapped together not head an bowl work like yours, theyre crazy fun though.

Yes your cams are stock 16ve ones. Dale has his DMM? custom ones that you could get and yes it would make 160 kw with them in it. Your not still running stock airbox are you? Maybe a 3" cat back would help too once you get the cams in.

30-12-11, 01:01 PM
Time for Supertech oversized valves and either N1 or Kelford cams.

People wouldn't be laughing at it when they know what this thing could do.

30-12-11, 01:10 PM
fuck yeah awesome!!.. i think painting the rocker cover black would tidy up the bay a bit but otherwise looks awesome, and damn fast!!

Tony Vzr
30-12-11, 03:15 PM
yea, he has DMM cams lined up, just need the funds :( and have got a hks pod and a 2 1/2 mandrel bent, dont know if id go 3 inch. i guess people wouldnt laugh so hard after i put my foot down ;) and want to paint the rocker cover orange like he had it at one stage, might even go orange calipers :P might be an over kill tho, ill see.

30-12-11, 03:34 PM
You can get brand new rocker covers from here:

It's where I'm getting a couple of things from for my VVL motor. I'm grabbing a nice red N1 cover.

03-01-12, 09:35 PM

Tony Vzr
04-01-12, 04:15 PM

so i can imagine yours would be alot of fun

07-02-12, 10:40 PM
This is awesome! 2 door Pulsar, there ya go learn something new everyday, Didn't even know they existed...

Love how you've stayed N/A aswell. Sure it costs more and you don't see sweet FA gains compared to a snail, but the feeling of a powerful N/A handing it to the turbo boys makes it worth it!
Very cool.
