Ooooh ok I see. Good luck on that!

16-07-07, 02:06 PM
mod list please

Mmhhh, my list is not that long:

2.5" cat back exhaust system
3" downpipe without catalytic converter (only 2 left...)
Ecutek engine management
still original turbocharger...
Samco silicone intercooler hoses
blitz turbo timer
resonator removed, elbow thingy instead
airsplitter for TMIC and watercooler

Orciari rear spoiler
intrax racing suspension (adjustable height and stiffness (?) )
OZ Racing Superleggera 17" with Kumho Ecsta MX KU15 215/45
Muteki lug nuts
STi front grille
modified headlights (painted black and remove yellow indicator caps)
STi foglight covers
Subaru emblems on trunk removed

Défi instruments (turbo, oil pressure & oil temp)
tinted windows
Schroth seat belts
Prodrive gear knob
short shifter (bushing)
STi rear window shelf (without hole for brake light)

to be continued...

As you can see, it is mostly trivia but I've only had the car for not even 2 years.
The next mods on my list are VF34 turbo charger, larger injectors, walbro 255l fuel pump.
It is quite complicated to get specific parts for a reasonable price, we have our "TUEV" who keeps an eye on safety. This means that I can not simply buy some rims in Japan or the US and mount it, the rims have to be proofed in Germany (!) for safety and load.

welcome dude

16-07-07, 05:57 PM
Nice mate I love the Superleggs!

16-07-07, 06:38 PM
The next mods on my list are VF34 turbo charger, larger injectors, walbro 255l fuel pump.
You know you can have all this for just 15.000.....:)
Comes together with an extra WRX for free.

The car does look great in flesh. Especially with the new suspension and the wheels.

I´m keen on highly sophisticated cars from this millennium not prehistoric vehicles. http://www.my-smileys.de/smileys3/aua.gif

i wanna drive on a runway!!!

if your a diehard impreza fan...come down to sydney ..they are abundant....here!!!

16-07-07, 09:41 PM
Australia is on my other list, the holiday list...

Driving on a runway is fun, but I could not go faster than 230 ks because this rwy is only 2500m long, our Autobahn is longer.

It´s time for an update.

This winter I´ve replaced my old 2.5" catback system, the stock cat and my 3" downpipe with a new full 3" turboback system. The increase in power and sound is incredible, although it is the only road legal 3" system available in Germany.

Together with the already installed STi TMIC this is the right basis for the future. I have changed my plans and bought a IHI VF22 instead of a VF34 to get more power on higher revs. But I will limit the max. output to ~350 hp and ~420Nm of torque (DIN, not at the wheel) until I can afford a reinforced gearbox or a new 6 speed gearbox and short block from the 2 liter STi.

So much so far, I can hardly wait to drive this new set up.

very nice!

car looks nice as well..
quick q.:: does it take long to remove the wing?

14-03-08, 08:12 PM
it takes years to remove it...

16-03-08, 11:43 AM
I am so excited because of vf22.

Or should I make worry?

16-03-08, 05:27 PM
Love the rims :)

16-03-08, 05:35 PM
Hah both you and Y.o.g.i had WRXs with ugly stickers.
And thankfully you both removed them!

Car is looking good. ;)

17-03-08, 02:37 AM
Yeah, removed the ugly stickers to put on some really big ones...#

VF22 waiting for installation:

New Zealnd......woot woot, its nice there but there isnt that many jobs there, thats why wer're all in Australia.

Nice Rex, Welcome.

17-03-08, 08:49 PM
I painted the original rims black but after some time I was tired the tone in tone colour and I bought the golden OZ superleggeras. Much better contrast I think.

The wing detracts from the not so beautiful back of the impreza and will stay where it is. I like that look.

In the last weeks installed:

STi hood scoop
STi air splitter
7,5 x 18" OZ WRC P1 rims with 225/40 TOYO Proxes R888
Walbro 255l fuel pump
STI 565cc injectors
new EcuTek setup

Car is running great with the new turbo, spooling is good (1 bar @ 3000 rpm - 1.3 bar @ 3400 rpm). Next week I will see how the mods will improve the quarter mile time...

11-06-08, 09:38 PM
Nice car, Subaru ftw!

Yeah, removed the ugly stickers to put on some really big ones...#

You missed an especially ugly one on the back :P

14-06-08, 01:38 PM
You don´t like the Défi sticker? http://www.my-smileys.de/smileys3/24.gif

11-07-08, 05:24 PM
1/4 mile time was 13.14s :)
...last year 14.01.

show us some more pics of the update

11-07-08, 06:53 PM
I have no actual pics but a vid of the 1/4 mile event:

klicky (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DokNl0socUo)

Y.O.G.I´s blue bugeye rex (white rims) is also starring the vid.

There was no slip on that concrete surface with my R888 tyres at all. So I had the choice between killing my gear box your eating my clutch. I chose the clutch...

Here is a short video of me and my car having some fun this winter...

My car is for sale, if someone should be interested pn me.
