As it stands... for sale (updates pg2)

Well, after much wasting time trying to convince the RTA that owning a s15 would be all sweet, i've bought an s13. It's a '93... auto (going soon) and it's N/A.

Ugly ass wheels, too much high and weird red door trim.

Engine has been replaced and this one has ~63000km on it + plus bonus super fast red injectors.

Things that need fixing:
- window seals
- wiring
- get rid of ghetto sound system
- fix the aircon (only blows hot air) - done
- get an alignment - done
- tighten everything up
- rip skids and pull astronaut like g's through corners -

Shopping list in order of importance:
- Coilovers - done
- Strut braces and sway bars
- Manual conversion
- enkei rpf1s - maybe one day
- misc exterior bits
- intake
- exhaust - done

The fun/tears/excess spending of money starts now

Yeah i'm eric's mate haha. Hopefully some rb power when I get my fulls. Or I might make it a track car.

Ordered some much needed tyres (235 wide Federal 595s). Spun out for absolutely no reason today. I was going about 20-30km/h around a wide corner in the wet, no brake or accelerator and boom! just spun out.

Going to buy some BC Racing BR coils on Tuesday, as well as a set of 17x9 Zenkai wheels. Then I can focus on all the little things.

Been busy over the last few days buying stuff and fixing stuff up.

Coilovers were meant to come yesterday (friday) but apparently they won't be here till Wednesday so i'll have to keep monster trucking around until then.

Found and exhaust leak . Big hole at one end of the Cat. That explains a lot.

Things to do soon;
- still fix the aircon
- get an alignment (once coils are in)
- fix leak
- get a big service
- tear up wakefield on the 16th!!!

Car looks strangely familiar =S ohh wait..

Damn looks so high!!! :)

21-01-12, 11:24 PM
will def look good once it sits lower

10-02-12, 10:32 PM
Should probably update huh? It's now sitting nice and low and handles like a boss (still needs new sway bars though), just had a custom exhaust installed and a service. I managed to find a relay for the aircon and I've bought a timing light to advance the timing a bit. Now the saving for a manual begins.

I'll post some pics tomorrow

Got a custom 2.25" catback exhaust yesterday. $440 plus 150 for a hi flow cat. pretty decent investment. Initial impressions are that it's wayyyyy to loud. Hopefully is softens up a bit with age.

Few things have happened lately.

Got it nice and clean.

PhillB then paid me a visit.

I now need to;

- go to wakefield
- save for manual
- replace o-ring on my fuel pump
- install intake

Going to do the manual conversion yourself or go to a shop?

Loving the clean (Y)

it's been a while...

couple of things have happened I guess.

tidied it up a bit. Drove it a lot etc.

Converted it to manual back in June. Took a few evening sessions to get it done. Cut wires and shit, started first go. Idles properly, reverse lights and in cabin beeper work. pretty pleased with myself.
Went to wakefield the other month. Was my first time on the track. broke into the 1:18s. Few more seconds to be had if i'd ballsed up and broke later and had a more stable alignment.

Then bought a bigger radiator which was a great investment, but now short lived as i'm selling!

Car as it stands now;

Learnt heaps in the process of the last year. Now it's time to buy an s15. Have my eye set on one with a completely forged motor, every conceivable steering arm and a gt2871r.

s13 looks great though, good luck with the sale
