The 1st gen Aristos have been approved for import and it looks like they're gonna start flooding in: clicky (http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au/search.php?skipValidationJS=0&action=results&id=&query=aristo&sold=available&andor=AND)

So what do we all think of this? Seems to be an awful lot of car for the money:

Judging by the prices, you could have a very nice cruiser with nice wheels, stance, modest 'kit and some serious 2JZ power underfoot for less than $30k all-up.

But...is it going to be the sort of thing like a Soarer, where they're worth so little that they're almost not worth repairing and you will get owned on every dollar you spend on mods?

No...the MX5 will be the anti-VIP car. So I will choose to drive one or the other depending on whether I was in a VIP or anti-VIP mood :D

Does anyone know when the Mitsubishi Legnums are gonna be available for import down under? Also how hard is it to get your hands on a decent Toyota Caldina?

Just the main reason I ask is I wanna buy a dog next year when I move outa home, so I want something i can comfortable take the dog down to the beach in whilst still having some decent performance without being another WRX owner. Believe me ive got nothing at all against rexies, its just there are way to many on the road these days!

EDIT: and sorry for being off topic a lil bit :P

WTF! Dude, you need to stop searching 'Caldina' and posting in every thread that you find. This one is three years old, and it's not even about Caldinas! You just did the same thing on another year old thread in 'Member's Rides' which is why it's even more annoying. No more, please.
