I picked up this EP82 Gi [GT] just over a week ago.

I still own the naturally-apirated EP91 as well as this EP82.

(1 x forced induction) + (1 x naturally aspirated) = best of both worlds.

At the moment, I'm just tidying this car up since it wasn't quite clean enough for me [although it is fairly clean for a 15yo car]

The specs for this car are:

Engine:
- 4EFTE engine/gearbox conversion [done 87,000kms]
- 2.5" stainless steel mandrel bent exhaust from stock cat-back, Autotecnica cannon muffler
- Apexi SAFC 2

Suspension:
- Front KYB adjustable shocks, Rear TRD adjustable shocks
- Front/Rear aftermarket lowered springs

I will put up more pictures later on, once I'm finished tidying up other things on this car.

Future plans are:
- Whiteline anti-lift/castor kit
- Whiteline adjustable rear swaybar
- Rear strut brace
- New suspension bushes
- HKS wastegate actuator
- Front mount intercooler
- Aftermarket CT9 turbo manifold & dump pipe

does this thing understeer badly?
a friend of mine turbo'd his NA starlet (early nineties?) and under throttle the car would just pretty much ignore input from the steering wheel - best car ever :D!!!!!
Never figured out how that worked in a fwd?

does this thing understeer badly?
I've never found understeering to be a major issue.

This EP82 has stiffer shocks/springs and in terms of understeering, it won't be as bad as a stock Starlet.

On my other car [the green EP91] it came out of the factory with no swaybars or strut braces and it definitely had body roll + understeering issues. Soon after, I put front/rear swaybars on and an anti-lift/castor kit which in turn, really improved the way the car handled corners.

Stalemete, do you remember driving behind my green EP91 when you had your white S13?

Also, EP82's only came out of the factory with a front swaybar and strut brace. In stock form, the rear end of the EP82/91 felt unstable when pushed hard around corners.

Thanks for all the kind comments.

Unfortunately, I have decided that I like my EP91 more than the EP82.

The EP82 will be for sale early next year.

My Project Starlet [EP91] will be finished during 2008 and in order to see that happen I need to sacrifice the EP82.

Thanks for the support that everyone has given me in this club. I feel that it is necessary for the members of jdmst to be aware of where I am heading with this car.
