View Full Version : Porsche’s 962 Racing Prototype Hits The Streets of Japan

16-10-12, 05:52 PM
Porsche‘s 962 racing first debuted in 1984 and quickly became one of the most dominant cars in motorsports. Ten years later, the a Porsche 962 saw its last victory in an All Japan Grand Touring Car Championship event. Following its success a number of private individuals attempted to convert the cars to road going models with varying degrees of success, particularly due to the increasingly strict regulations regarding road vehicles. One such individual in Japan was able to get his 962 roadworthy and currently uses it regularly. All I can say is imagine driving on a high way and seeing this next to you or even better, seeing this thing fill up at the bowser next to you
