Hey all new to this forum and i like what i see of it.I am looking for a 89 model or up seca sx have around 6k to spend on the right car if anyone has one or knows of one let me know.I am located at newcastle but would be prepared to drive to sydney and surrounding suburbs.My number is 0432423716 any help would be much appreciated thanks again.Michael.

quite a few on there. i know of a seca sx on there that was going for $5500 with a GZE conversion, nevo pulley, respray. only downside was that it was in WA.

done the ebay and carsales thing there is a nice one but it is in the act so a bit far from newcastle.Anyways thanks guys keep ya eyes out for me.That one in wa is nice but way too far lol.

I have a mate with a red 92 model Toyoda Corollya GTi. :)
Better looking than a Seca ;)
Has header, intake, exhaust, springs, shocks, re-trimmed seats front and back.
I think he is after around 6k.

FYI: The GTi is the povo pack sx.. Whilst it is a later model it had less features than the SX. I believe it was released so that they could sell off the last of the SX hatches. Interior isn't quite as good and also was sold with steel wheels as compared to the alloys on the SX's. One advantage is that it did recieve slightly bigger single piston front brakes . If you buy an sx it is a cheap/easy bolt on to upgrade over to these which are the same as the AE101 20V brakes or the 2nd series seca sx.

20v is overated. lol just stick to a normal 16v 4age

the only real difference is - vvt does help with bottom end torque
bad side - no matter what you do to the exhaust.. it will sound raspy and ugly as hell at the rear muffler. good at the engine.. super yuck at the rear end.

I know.. I got one as a daily. It will really get moving once its forced :d

I've got an sx hatchback with a silvertop 20v, if the price is right i might let it go (around 5.5-6.0k)

Mods - H4 Hi+Low HID, 3SGTE GEN 2 AFM (10mm larger bore) Pedders complete suspension kit (bushings, shocks) Sway bars I think are a trd item they are red and thicker then std ones. Newstyle motorsports bodykit, 17" wheels.. usual alarm sound system. Honda prelude vtir bucket seats (cloth trim).

Oh BTW if you want a 1990 model seca sx white model, with rebuilt head, new piston rings, new .8m toyota headgasket, total engine seals all engine refresher 100kms ago (built by mazda mechanic). fairly straight and clean usual system (lowering, 16" alloys, sound system) and rego till next year about 4.5k

I have found one a 1990 with 175000klms very clean very straight thanks for those who helped.
