Any idea who makes these particular turn signal intakes for the Mk1 MX-5? They're different to the ones we can get in the UK, the UK ones are a pain to prep and fit - not good, basically.

Cheers!

According to a older Hyper Rev, they're made by Zest, but I get the feeling that perhaps they are not in business anymore, as the later Hyper Revs no longer list it.

Someone locally makes these now. Also somewhere in the UK, one of the bigger online MX-5 shops. So sorry, forget who, what and where at the moment... but they are floating around out there.

I think what he's talking about are these, which are available everywhere (Moss Motors etc):

But they're not very well made IIRC and need smoothing with bog before painting, etc. At one time, there was another brand (with a circular light instead of a triangular one) that was JDM, AFAIK.

Babalouie's hit it right on the nail there - the ones on the red car are the ones sold by MX-5 parts. They're hand made from plaster or something, so need a lot of work to smooth down, get to fit and spray. And, sometimes they start falling apart with age...

Hence why I'm after the JDM ones :) no luck finding a website for Zest though... maybe they have gone out of business.

Good thing you mentioned the Hyper Rev books though, I'll have to get me one of those!

Thanks for the help :)
