theyre gona squel theyre tit's off!

They don't squeel at all! They are sooo quiet. Just like stock. But Dave... you shouldn't be using carbon ceramic pads on a stock rotor. One they are not going to bite. I tried it, hence the carbon ceramic rotors. Two... they will chew your rotors.

yea we smoothed em and got em chromed

Police. Wheels look like they stick outside guards by over an inch in those pics.

i think my motor will give me more cop troubles than the wheels
im not gonna drive it like that, the rear quarters will be stretched so they sit flush
ive also got some Cusco adjustable upper control arms which brought the tops of the rims in thanks to some silly camber, but thats just temporary

thanks for the comments guys the car looks sooooo much better now

Check the back of the hub. It'll usually have something engraved or embossed there, if I remember correctly.

On the rim's barrel itself, near where the valve goes, you should find the JWL and VIA acronyms embossed on it, as per this (http://www.au-z.org/gallery/my350z_20050730_te37/my350z_20050730_te37_09).

That's what I was thinking. They don't do a multi stud wheel.

There should be a sticker of authenticity on the inside on a genuine one, and like Alan said near the valve there is an embossed logo. Best way to tell is to weigh them. There's no way a copy would be forged.

Excuse the ignorance- what does it actually DO? :)

It forces more of the airflow going through your grille onto your heat exchangers, improving its efficiency.

I was a bit skeptical when I first heard about it, but a mate on another forum actually tested it out with a pair of thermal probes (one on either side of the radiator) and noticed a bigger heat drop after fitting his mocked up "rice plate".

Certainly enough to go and throw out the piece of cardboard he was using and buy a real one. :)

Actually due to the wheels sitting on top of the guards it caused the front bonnet release latch to completely rip out while turning lol.. so why not copy the hi comp civic drag car? as the owner Joe said.

Mahle pistons can be fairly noise once the engine is warmed up. but their quality units!

have you actually checked your condition of the cylinder walls before buying pistons though..? you might need to bore it out to remove any glazing or markings

once you fit them you will here a slight noise at take off when the engine is warm. or after you've had a hard run you can hear it at idle.

it even says so under the lid :p there's a notice saying the pistons will be louder then oem

Volk Racing CE28N - 16 X 7 +25
No guard rolling required, 14.4 KG with tyres/ full air.

Honestly I was a bit skeptical on how light it is, so I measured my old 17" RPF1 on the same scale then on 'Pack n Send' scale before sending them off to Sydney. To my surprised..."Homemaker" $19.95 scale is bloody accurate :).

FYI RPF1 + RE001 215/40/17 is 16.8 KG, which is still lighter than OEM NB8B combo.

That is true.
You gotta keep up though. I've just ordered this lot.

Bride Seat Rail (http://www.nengun.com/bride/rails-fx-type)
Carbing Heel Adjustment Plate (http://www.nengun.com/carbing/heel-adjustment-plate)
Carbing Rear Lower Arm Bar (http://www.nengun.com/carbing/lower-arm-bar-rear)
Spoon Oil Baffle Pan (http://www.nengun.com/spoon/baffle-oil-pan)

That lot along with a full J's Racing 70RR titanium exhaust and carbon intake. I've decided getting the car back together with around 240bhp is the first goal. After all, it will be over 100kg lighter than it was before. The new engine can be on hold for a while.

Dave, not the best way to install the harness.

The back right should be further back. Btw for Cams... doesn't it have to be more than 45 degree? because that sure as hell isn't.

I just noticed the same thing. Also lengths are different which means different levels of stretch. You need to move the right hand side back. You can suffer some pretty major compression injuries with it set up like that.
