So hot!
woah!!
x2. Those rims are PERFECT.
astro - WOW, love the wheels mate, damn nice offset there!
thanks heaps guys...really appreciated your comments.
the recommended size from Works/Rays where 18x8.5 or 9 with +30 offset (which looks boring as there is no concave) . So i looked into it more and did some research to see how far i can go as i wanted the aggressive concave look. basically this is a GTR size rim and it fits with ease.
aggressive, tough, concave and fat look was what i was after :)

OMG that RX-8 looks hot.
why did i sell my CE28's????
Its a Pulling Jig ..... just a TAD different to a hoist :)
Im suprised it wasnt a writeoff! Damage mustn't of been as severe as it looked?
it should have been. a repairable write-off, but a write off all the same.
unfortunately the insurance company didnt see it that way...
needed a pulling jig?
repair looks to have cost insurance company around 5g give or take.
but if it was a heco front hit and they need to remove the engine to fix the chassis rail then write off for sure.
what a tight arse insruance company.
look like a heco jig.
what smashy did you go to?
Which insurance company out of interest ....... im guessing Just Cars?
daamn the offset on your wheels look dope paul!!
Just got my Maxim Works Header HPC coated :)

That looks sweet!
Are those before and after photos?
Which insurance company out of interest ....... im guessing Just Cars?
and for correctly guessing Sp33dY you win a lovely vaction at home! which you can take at anytime you want!!
too claim you prize just press here--->
yep it was just cars
the rear was pretty bent, to the extent that the shell and/or chassis was bent as well. PyRoMaNiAc receive a quote from his repairer for almost the value of the vehicle, yet just cars got repair quote for about half the value of the vehicle.
which usually means that if it is going to cost as much or more than the half the value of the vehicle (depending on the vehicle) it will a be deemed a repairable write-off.
if a vehicle is damage in such a way, ie flood damage, bent chassis, structural part of the shell it should be a write off.
but clearly they didnt see that in their infinate wisdom. also just you DO NOT get your choice of repairer. its theirs or nothing.

So to keep the worlds population of SR20DET transmission high I'm putting in a Z32 (300ZX) tranny.
The last SR transmission I had only lasted 2 months, they don't seem to like 400HP+.

Sorry for the noob question, what do they actually do??
Normally when you bleed brakes you need 2 ppl. One guy to work the pedal, and another guy at the brake to open and shut the bleed nipple. The reason you need 2 ppl is that if you just opened the bleed nipple and started pumping the pedal, when you push down the pedal it will purge the air bubbles in the fluid (good), but when you lift the pedal it sucks the air bubbles right back in again (bad). So the second person is there to close the bleed nipple before you lift the pedal.
The speedbleeders are replacement bleed nipples which have a one-way, spring loaded ballvalve inside, so that fluid can go out, but never come back in. So you can do the whole job without the help of a second person, just open the bleed nipple and pump the fluid and air bubbles out (into that bag that is in Kelv's pic).

It's still the sedan boot, just with a wing and no ADM integrated high mount brake light. Just sick of the car looking so front heavy so I needed something to balance out the rear :)

HKS EVC is installed (though the stock turbo is having trouble holding boost), my JDM GT bootlid with wing is painted and on and my disc brake rear axle is installed. A few photos:

You got the easywriter software too?
Love the new EVC! Great thing!
llama_au
27-10-07, 11:45 PM
What's easywriter?
Thanks, I haven't had a chance to test it out. Won't be giving it much of a trash until I've had the stock ECU re-mapped and the bigger turbo and injectors are on.

Easywriter is the HKS software for this EVC. You can record data adjust all the settings via a notebook and display the boost against the revs/throttle etc.
I think it was just released in english.

I can get pictures of it installed tomorrow if needed. I had to turn it on it's side and buy some huge terminals for it to fit. Coincidentally it's blue so it suits other bits of the car, the car is a Pulsar and my plates have one additional letter. I swear I didn't do it on purpose. Car starts so quickly now!
