What up everyone!

Not too much history behind this yet, but after owning an N15 pulsar (base model) for a couple of years I finally decided to buy something I have been after for a while. Slogged through my traineeship and finally started getting some decent money.

Since I started driving around I've always been after a DC2R, love the shape of the car and the package that it is from factory, don't forget aftermarket parts too! Started looking seriously a couple of weeks ago and came across this one:

http://img855.imageshack.us/img855/1778/img0274pnj.jpg (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/855/img0274pnj.jpg/)

Very clean condition, picked it up for a steal of a price and was absolutely stunned when I parked it in my driveway! Almost stock too!

Mods Currently:

- Cusco rear strut brace
- Injen CAI
- Cusco catch can
- JVC headunit with reversing camera
- Cruise control (fitted very nicely and works great!)

Current Plans:

- Looking at some Works Emotions (Kai's or Ultimates)
- Spoon N1 or J's Racing axleback (Any opinions on what to go with?)
- BC BR coilovers, nothing too serious here
- Clean up a few bits and pieces (Snapped bolt through the front struct brace, sump plug is rounded, touch up minor paint damage)

And most importantly just enjoying driving it! Went for a drive with some mates up to Wisemans Ferry yesterday, thoroughly enjoyed it, car goes much better than the Pulsar and is just fun to drive.

Also changed out the destroyed speakers currently in it, need some tunes for driving :)

Old, pretty darn stuffed haha

New speakers fitted

Will post more photos when I take more.

A quick update...

Not a great deal has happened, gave the car a wash and a polish, replaced my destroyed sump bolt with a new magnetic one and the biggest mod so far, fitted a Spoon N1 axleback system. I also purchased some OEM rear pods that I have yet to fit as well as some e-bay fog lights (not sure if I can be bothered custom fitting these) and some rep mugen pedals to replace the slippery rubber ones. Have yet to be bothered to fix up paint damage too, however I did pull a few interior bits apart to add a microphone to the headunit (for bluetooth) as it didn't have one.

Just enjoying driving still, went to Canberra over the weekend and the car drove great. Next on my shopping list is more than likely some coils, need to save some bones for that though! Will chuck up some photos when I get home from work.

Nothing worse than a destroyed Sump Bolt. The magnetic one sounds like a top idea, saves having it fall in the oil drip container.

Aawesome project, love it. Looking forward to your photos when you get home :)

Bay shot, valve cover needs a touch up/respray

Fog lights and rear pods when they arrived, will post pictures of the pods once I actually fit them.

Rep Mugen pedals, cause screw paying $250

http://imageshack.us/a/img827/4070/img0301ab.jpg

And the Spoon N1 fitted

Will update once I get some more cash, hopefully fit the pods this weekend and perhaps the foglights too, if I find a nice place to mount them.

Small update...

Got around to installing my OEM Rear Pods, they fit really well and were fairly easy to install with a bit of patience. I'll let the couple of pics do the talking.

http://imageshack.us/a/img834/8941/img0305ory.jpg

Still waiting on some OEM Window Visors to come in, currently putting away some dollars for coils next, new headunit to come soon as well (I enjoy touchscreen units). I'll snap some interior shots as well when I do the new headunit install.

So got around to installing my fog lights, more JDM points apparently. Got to rip the front bar off to change globes which is a pain but going to change them to some brighter LED's, will last longer too. Other than that haven't done much to the car, still waiting on window visors......and saving money for whatever I decide to do next (coils, wheels, rotors, stereo, it goes on..). I'll let the pictures sum it up.

http://imageshack.us/a/img10/5002/imag0045gw.jpg
Front bar is a PITA to get off, do it a few times and it gets easier

http://imageshack.us/a/img266/5301/imag0046jl.jpg
Cable ties holding them in, pretty sure they can fix anything

http://imageshack.us/a/img96/7265/imag0039qj.jpg
Toying with the idea of spraying the silver surronds black just to blend it better

http://imageshack.us/a/img28/6681/imag0049vno.jpg
And not very bright at night, form over function yo, going to put the LED's in to hopefully fix this

Mod bug is burning though, trying not to spend money, need it for a snow trip and a cruise later in the year but we all know that never happens  Track day is something that will suck money too, really keen on it but!

Small update,

Got around to fixing up my foglights on the weekend, also installed a new horn as the old one shit itself. Bit of pain with the LED globes as they were too big to fit in the housing, needed a bit of modification, also sprayed the surrounds of them black.

http://imageshack.us/a/img90/570/2ezj.jpg

They wouldn't fit, despite being a H3 fitting

http://imageshack.us/a/img706/986/cuqy.jpg

http://imageshack.us/a/img37/3124/46t7.jpg

After some modification to the housing I made em fit :D

http://imageshack.us/a/img826/5999/fkke.jpg

You can't see it in the pic but the white LED light with the yellow tint on the foglight lens makes them a lime green colour hahaha

http://imageshack.us/a/img827/7829/n0x0.jpg

Also picked up some OEM clear side markers/indicators as I don't like the amber ones I have, will get around to installing them this weekend as well as doing a minor service. Hoping I can get the funds together for a track day next month!

Constantly on the lookout for the stupidly rare/expensive OEM Optional Side skirts too! Let me know if you know of any going

Another cheap modder on a great car.
Screw Mugen? tbh, I would rather black rubber pedals or razo's than knock off mugens.

Also, what foglights are they? are they aftermarket or oem?>

I liked the style, not the price. They get the job done for me.

The foglights are an aftermarket kit, as far as I am aware, AUDM Integras did not have factory optioned foglights.

I also think it rather sad that you call someone a "cheap" modder. Not everyone has the money to spend on all original parts or the best parts for their car, but they share the passion exactly the same, I think that's where it counts :)

There is no problem with what you're doing, just that you put yourself out there for comment and criticism by doing so. So don't get upset when I express my view.

Another update, not too much has happened as usual, mates got new cars and so on. I haven't done too much recently, saving for the snow and a cruise amongst other things.

Onto what I did do though, I'll let the photos talk.

http://imageshack.us/a/img194/1324/ilx4.jpg

Fitted the OEM clear side markers/indicators.

http://imageshack.us/a/img854/9089/q8k2.jpg

Changed my gearbox oil, made a huge difference to shifting feel. Used Motul oil.

http://imageshack.us/a/img839/8208/k5ma.jpg

Fitted a Skunk2 gear knob as well as the optional shift boot. Skunk2 knob is really nice, some good weight behind it, about twice as heavy as the OEM Type-R one.

http://imageshack.us/a/img51/7582/vpve.jpg

Gave the car a good wash and polish, came up really well seeing as I don't have much of an idea about detailing cars.

http://imageshack.us/a/img9/15/7bzr.jpg

And finally managed to get a set of OEM Optional Side Skirts, can't wait to get them on, have to spray them first though, they're in mint condition, cheers to the boys at JDMYard.

That's about it for now, won't be an update for a while, need to save

Another small update, my window visors finally came in (been waiting 6 months!) better late than never though, installation was easy enough with a guide but holy hell the seals on the door are a pain in the ass to get back in properly.

Messed around with my Dad's DSLR too, think some photos came up alright for doing a 20 minute read on the basics of photography.

Certainly better than my phone anyhow. Gave my sideskirts to a mate to be sprayed so hopefully have them back by the end of the week and fit them on the weekend. Have a set of wheels lined up too, should be able to pick them up in a month or so.

Thanks mate.

Took some photos of it last week, also side skirts are off being sprayed and I pulled the lip off to give it a quick hit with some touch up paint. Gunna scratch the fuck out of it again anyway. Going away on Friday so the skirts will get put on when I get back. Getting out of Sydney is a win-win situation.

Long time no update, not much has happened anyway. Sideskirts I finally got back and fitted them and also picked up some wheels today :) Been after for them a while, turns out a mate had a set sitting in his garage and picked them up for a good price.

http://imageshack.us/a/img594/2521/9xq0.jpg

Sideskirts fitted, missing the black rubber trim, still haven't decided how to fix this properly.

http://imageshack.us/a/img266/7629/vyrf.jpg

And the wheels are SSR Type-C 16x7 +43. Still undecided whether to have them sprayed black or leave them in the grey (same as my stockies).

Have a set of Spoon N1 headers lined up and after that will be fixing up my front brakes (rotors are squealing). Thinking of going with a set of Project MU SCR Plus 6, anyone had experience with these before? Beyond that probably a set of Tein Street Flex coils.

Need to get out to some meets again!

Cheers man.

Why is there still no itr front and k20?

Cause I ain't baller enough, unlike you S2K owners.

In other news I have the headers now, gotta put them on the car. Won't be till after chrissy though, long drive to Tenterfield is forcing me back to stock bits so I get there with my hearing intact (hopefully).

Hopefully order a bushing kit with my holiday pay. Then nothing till next year I suppose.
