Hey guys. I've come out of hibernation and been out quite alot lately. I have noticed that there is 90% of Sydney's bars and clubs are playing Dance/house music. Looks like RnB and Hip Hop isn't 'fashionable' anymore? In this thread please post what music you listen to, and where about you roll out to, to have have a few drinks and a good time.

I havent been out for a few months either...but these days with the whole rnb and hip hop scene you dont have as much choice as you used to.

Friday and Sat nights here are the more popular joints...

- Space
- Bamboo
- Pumphouse
-Skygardens
- Apparently the City Hotel has opened up with a new rnb image.
-I guess equilibrium too...depending on night.
- Jays Jook Joint but I havent been there yet, someone I know DJs there.
-UN
-Golden Palace is it ?? in chinatown...havent been to this one yet either.
-Mylk - depending on the night you might get different styles

Verandah and Gas are gone now......umm to my knowledge they are still shut but like I said I havent been out for ages so someone correct me if im wrong !

favourite club: rnb isn't trendy anymore (not that it ever was) but i still enjoy pumphouse on saturday nights. i'm not a poser and i'm not even going to pretend i'm into electro/ house n so on. lol.

music: i've got an eclectic(sp) taste in music but i prefer rnb, hip-hop, funk, disco, jazz, dance etc etc

friday night: depends where the cheap drinks are at or if ive already been drinkin at work hehehe :P, i'll usually head out with work people to places like paradiso/scary canary for cheap drinks, cargo, pontoon, pier 26, establishment, ryans bar, etc etc

sat night: haven't been clubbing on sat night in a while. if i did go out i'd prob end up at bamboo at martin place bar as my mate dj's there, as well as skygarden or space...or even kink. went to pontoon once, they play old school rnb up to midnight. really good! women are a plenty there too! :D

definately agree on the company comment. i find i usually have an awesome night when i'm with people who want to have fun and are just willing to do anything. usually also when nothing is planned and we just wing it!
