How I found JDMST: PGA.
Hey guys. My names patrick. I own an r31 4 door sedan, 1988 model. While its an aussie 4 door, and no where near as special as say a hr31 coupe, i still love it.
The goal is a simple JDM cruiser. Somthing along the lines of lowered, white/charcol two tone, black (possibly white) rims with plenty of dish(nice and phat rims. Leather, or comfortable as possible interior and a sunroof. Nothing over the top.
I bought it for $150, with a blown head. The rest of the car was in pretty good condition. So the old rb30e came out, and i purchesd myself;
A jdm VG30de fresh from japan, or more specifically, a cima. The engine has done about 90thou, is in perfect working order and came with a manual box completle with more or less brand new HD clutch.
That will stay naturally aspirtated, as im a bit of an n/a fan.
Ive already bought and installed front and rear custom swaybars from whiteline and im currently in the search for some coilover suspension.
Its a slow project, im hoping to get the engine installed in the next month or so, but its comming along at a steady pace.
to be honest, im not the biggest fans of turbo's. ive got nothing agaisnt them but i guess im a bit of a sucker for a well kept n/a with some decent power to it.
i paid $700 for the engine and manual box/hd clutch. also came with several boxes of brand new bearings and gaskets and all wiring and ecu.
