JDMST photography section?

As seen in the 5Dmk2 thread, there is a lot of interest in Photography on this board, we have the appearance thread with some great shots in it as well as general "what to buy" threads every now and then in General Discussion.

So how about it? A JDMST Photography section...

I know for a fact there are a few full time professionals who visit these forums regularly, as well as many advanced amateurs that can pass on advice/experience to beginners and hobbiest out there, general tips on gear, processing, locations etc.

On several other car based forums I belong too (Gunna, Performance Forums, Dieselstation) the Photography sections are very popular and are well behaved.

All those for say I, all those against STFU

Yea that sort of stuff would be posted. Eg talk on new cameras eg 5d Mk II and the 50D.

People can show their recent works and make their own little gallery.

Im up for it as well.

i think this might work also as I'm a noob to photography and when people talk about lens and so forth, I have no idea what they're going on about

like for example the lens Matt Mead is selling, I have no idea what difference it would make compared to my kit lens. then there are those wide angle lens', i know how they make the image "wider" but there are like different types of wide angle lens' and why some are so expensive compared to others

also if I'm looking to buy a new lens I wouldn't know where to start because there are just so many out there...
