Camera Gear - what are you using?

New Photography section for us to begin our world domination !! Rawr !!

Post up what digital camera (compact, superzoom or SLR) you are using, and user comments !

    mine:

    superzoom Fuji Finepix S6500FD
    6.3Mp 10.7X zoom 28mm-300mm Equivalent lens
    Super CCD sensor

Comments: Sensor and lens are well matched to each other, CCD draws out colour well especially at night, though the camera is at it's limits at full telephoto reach while needing quick focus. Great bridge camera with all manual functions and a manual zooming lens

I have an aging Sony DSC T3 point and shoot.

It's just shit on every level.
It needs to be super compact because it's got nothing great to offer.

I honestly can not remember everything.

    I'll try.

    Canon 1DSmk2 16.8mp DSLR
Canon G9 12mp compact (best thing ever!)
    Canon 70-200 f2.8L
    Canon 24-70 f2.8L
    Canon 17-40 f4L
    Canon 50 f1.4
    Canon 50 f1.8

I have 13 flashes haha (totally OCD huh)
Radio Triggers for a few of them, several are triggered by optical slave

About 5 tripods of various ages
Various Rigs, adaptors, suction cups etc for hanging a small fortune off a car.

More filters, memory cards and other gizmos than I care to imagine.

It's depressing to see a list of how much gear you have and realise it's worth more than your car

Nikon D70s to replace the old-skool F50 I'd had for several years.
    Supplied Kit 18-70mm lens
Nikkor 70-240mm f/4-5.6 (I think, its still in Syd)
Another Nikkor lens 35-? (probably the one that kitted with the F50, haven't used in ages)
    Sigma 30mm f/1.4
    Various filters
    Older pre-TTL flash
    A couple of auto-fill flashes
    Several random tripods

Looking at a 300mm prime and possibly a D90 next. But will need to save a fair amount because I want the lens that goes below f/4.

Comments: Decent camera. If I were getting into photography properly I'd probably move to a Canon 5D/1D. Meanwhile, the D70s does what it needs to and the lenses take care of 95% of my picture-work (cars, aircraft). The 300mm would be good for perving. But I tell people its to get closer pics to the aircraft.

Just cool little things like inbuilt ND filter, unlimited flash sync and the big screen make it a cool toy.

I still vividly remember using your Fisheye, pointed it straight ahead and could see my feet in the frame... so freaky

Photoshop was created in 1988 by Thomas and John Knoll. Since then, it has become the de facto industry standard in raster graphics editing, such that the word "photoshop" has become a verb as in "to Photoshop an image," "photoshopping" and "photoshop contest", though Adobe discourages such use.
