    i bought the tele from the states... worked out to be 410$ with a 77mm uv filter

    i think ther elike 415$ from d-d photographics

    Lots of the Canon's are light and feel flimsy until you add the extra weight of a battery grip, also balances alot better handheld

    Also when you drop them (god forbid) the grip breaks first, not the camera.

    Maybe that was not it's intended purpose

    You can also run 2 batteries, or fill the bugger up with AA's if you are in woop woop without a powerpoint to charge the packs.

    I have it to make the camera look bigger and thus more like a professional camera

    (no just for extra weight to counterbalance bigger/heavier lenses)

    Entry level for the win.

    Recently bought an Olympus E510 DSLR. Came with twin lens kit.



    Comments: Well I haven't really used it much yet, but I promise I will. It's pretty easy to use and excellent for a beginner like me. It might not be what the pro's are after, but it's pretty much more than I need anyway, so it keeps me happy.
