hehe ethats cool, seen you on PF
Intro: Purchased the car in September of this year with a blown headgasket. Pulled the head off to get it machined and what do you know it had gone soft, took 2 other heads down to be checked out and you wouldn't believe it they are soft as well. (what is it with starlets)
Anyway since then new (stock) engine has gone in and the car is being prepped to compete in Tighe Cams Hill Climb Series and IPRA and I thought as this section of the forums suggest I should keep a Diary of the progress.
Model: 1991 Toyota Starlet GT
Engine: Stock 4EFTE
Exhaust: 2.5" Dump Pipe into 2.5" system with Hi-Flow Cat.
Intake: Air Filter - making up an intake atm, but holding off as the stock turbo wastegate arrangement is already creeping towards boost cut. Going to wait for new Speedvision CT9 Hybrid Turbo and manifold to turn up before bothering with the intake.
Suspension: KYB Struts, King Springs, Whiteline Anti-lift and Caster kit and Whiteline Camber Bolts. Coilovers are on the cards but not a major hassle atm.
Electronics: HDI Boost Controller, Apexi RSM (what speed cut?) on the cards is a Microleb LT10S.
Interior: Stripped (still need to finish removing sound deadening,), RPM 4 Point Harness on the way is a Speedway Motors Quick release and Boss Kit, RPM Suede steering wheel, Cobra Monaco seat and *fingers crossed* in January the Car goes upto Nambour Radiators for new "Bolt-in" roll cage seeing as weld in are illegal and all.

nice project you have there ... Starlet gts rock!
She goes alright.
Has run a 52.01 on street tyres around Mt Cotton. Had more in her but driver error put pay to a mid 51. Hoping semi's and sorting out a couple of bugs with it will get it into a 49.

Have been put on layby. Damn people having presents purchased for them. Should of just spent it on the above car parts!
Anyway, hopefully have them before Chrissy or early next year.
Well I saved up a little bit and now have a few things to update on.
Blitz Access ECU
Blitz K1 200V Turbo
Mild Steel Manifold
Zep Racing Coilovers
Whiteline Adjustable Panhard Bar
The steering wheel and quick release above.
Monza Bucket seats, my lard arse didn't fit in the Cobra's
RDA slotted rotors
Ferodo DS2500 Brake pads and GS610 Brake Fluid.
Autometer Ultra Lite II, Oil pressure, temp and coolant temp gauges
Some new no name Rims with Toyo R888 rubber.
Faux Carbon GT Mirrors (old electric mirrors = 2kg, new mirrors = 100g)
Had it out at lakeside but the old stainless manifold cracked and warped so new one is going on shortly.
It showed some pretty promising results, looking at turning it into a track only car though so I may be a bit more inclined to push it rather than being a sook with it.
Will try and get some photos of it sometime soon and post them up.
Nice. I used to use a Starlet in Motorkhana's, heaps of fun!
I forgot the GReddy Oil Cooler, oil filter relocation kit and oil catch can. Oh how silly of me :p
Cool car dude!
