    Recommend me a camera

Ok, this is the camera I use at the moment:

    http://www.sanyo-dsc.com/products/li..._c6/index.html

It's the camera I use on my travels, etc. When I bought it, it seemed like a good idea, small, light, and used a memory card, so would be convenient.

Downside/frustrations are that it's got a short battery life (it ran dry after 2hrs at TAS), the flash is small so unless you're very close to your subject all the pics turn out black, and so I end up turning off the flash....but that means that you have to hold the camera really, really still if it's not to come out all blurry. In fact, low light pics aren't very good at all, even if I rest the butt of the camera on a table or something, it still is blurry half the time. 40% of the pics I took at TAS (which I didn't host up) were awful, even when I was really trying to hold the camera still

So what's a good camera for me? Most ppl here would know my photodiary style, I don't really spend much time composing a shot, I just want to walk up to something and go SNAP and let quantity compensate for quality

I guess the thing I would like in a camera, is ability to take quick, sharp pics in low light, like say if one were watching street drifting in Japan at night, and one wanted to take pics that would actually turn out

....or....do I maybe have it on the wrong setting or something?

yeah not sure about model numbers,

but in jap land, they had the 1000 which was 37-111 and 10mpx,
    and the 900 which was 28-105 7mpx.

Depending on your budget, I would recommend buying the highest model Canon you can afford.

I've used Nikons, Casios and the list goes on and I've found Canons to have the most accurate colour, easy to use, good solid build and decent battery life.
