Free! (melb) Filing cabinet, chairs, shelves, blinds etc

Moving house - I believe in freecycling, so these items are for anyone who can give them a good home, rather than contributing to landfill! Though it would be nice for anyone who takes away something to make a small donation to Red Cross for the bushfire victims - http://www.redcross.org.au.

Items are pickup only from mitcham in Melbourne! Whoever can pickup items earliest will get them, I won't reserve any items for anyone.

TAKEN Small metal filing cabinet, two drawers, very solid. Good for putting a printer on top or something like that. Also has castors on bottom, should fit under most desks too.

Four chairs, vinyl, padded. Good for your workshop etc.

Big wooden shelving, approx 2m high. Put this in your shed, workshop, garage etc for old car magazines (that's what I used it for!) You'll need a ute/trailer or similar to take this one.

TAKEN White holland blinds x2 (no pics), thin vinyl, approx 180cm wide and 200cm high.

Hey it might be a good idea to donate some of this stuff to the bushfire victims?

Good idea. Maybe call the Red Cross and see if they can collect it all.

Already thought of all that, Red Cross, Salvos etc don't take this kind of furniture. Plus all the relief groups say they need money more than clothes, furniture etc. So as mentioned in the original post, I'm not asking for anything, but a donation to red cross would be the way to go.

As it is, pretty much everything is spoken for, will find out tomorrow whether people will actually turn up to take things away

Hey, new here and I am just trying to find the solution for the furniture which have some scratches. I have a bed, sofa and table and chairs. This furniture is not in very good condition. I purchased through https://www.clicknbuyaustralia.com/furniture/ and I am now shifting to new home and want to buy new furniture. Do you think is it okay to donate furniture, although it is not in good condition?
