Yeah I caught a 2.2kg Salmon off Cremorne Wharf just over a year ago. Hooked a lil yellowtail up to the hook and sent it out, the Salmon hooked onto it within a minute of casting it out.Originally Posted by aidannn

Me and arron were the only ones that occupied the whole wharf from 12am till 5am lol and not one fish!! I got heaps of bites on the hand line but kept snagging my rod and got fed up with re-hooking etc
arron was on the same prawn for about 2 1/2 hours LOL!! Funny shiet.
Was preety windy aswell but we put up with it for 5 hours but still got nothing.
When arron packed up and left I was going to stay abit more till I caught a fish but ended up catching a squid right when he was at his car and I dropped it halfway pulling it up and it took my hook with it the bastard
Oh well, live and learn! Nice night out nice and quiet as no one else was there, would've been good to see more JDMST faces!
wow, sounds like a very peaceful night indeed man ^^ maybe because the tide was pretty low plus combination of earlier rain making the water more fresh and turning the fish off the bite =S
shame about that squid, would have made the night much better and I imagine it was a decent size too!
