Here is what my tank will look like when done
Minus a few things like that star fish n few of the corals.

N the clam on the left hand side is much bigger now too.. looks incredible!

Also few changes to the tank setup - Having a weir put in on left side.. so all the plumbing bits will be hidden down below.
Got different powerheads etc..

Indeed was messy..

Wasnt my tank tho. The guy was moving out etc so had to get rid of it.. so snapped it up!!

But in person it looks incredible!!

Yea new setup will be a lot neater!!

40-45 Tropheus Duboisi. Getting fry though, so will grow them up and eventually cull out the males to reduce numbers.



Then, 8 or so Bristlenose Peppermint..

What filters are you guys using? My Resun Canister filter failed on me recently and now my 4ft tank is filterless. Its all cloudy and I'm in need of a new filter.

I've been thinking of using an internal filter cause I the external ones take up space.

Any recommendations?

I had a Resun that failed, well it started leaking. Cheap Chinese quality.

I bought a Fluval FX5 off eBay for $400.

i love marine setups, although its quite costly man it all adds up in the long run with the coral, fish etc. just recently i bought a fish for my girlfriend its like a multicoloured frog looking thing for 45 bucks and then also a box face which was 30.

I'm getting my 25 through a mates mate who is a breeder, probably between the $10-15 mark. Adult cost, not sure.
