Speaking of lights.. does anyone know how i can attach my Arcadia lights which weigh something like 20kgs to top of the ceiling? The ceiling is gyprock

have you got a stud detector to see if there is a wooden frame? you should ask the people at the st george store maybe they could help ya

Haven't got a stud detector, but i will try and get one.. Just not to sure what fittings to use etc.. But i will do some research.. Thought i ask here incase someone has done it..

Yea i will ask stgeroge store and see they can help me out.. If not will go into bunnings.. Im sure someone will know there.

if you can get up in the ceiling and can work out where the ceiling joists or trusses are above your tank poke a small diameter nail thru the ceiling right beside the timber then from underneath you know that you have timber to the left or right of that little hole and you can find the others by measuring from your first hole.

then you can get some eylet bolts to drill thru the timber to hang the lights off.
if you need one to hang in between two bits of timber just span across between the two.

Well my corals really need those metal Halides.. Actually my clam really needs it.. So i have to install something that powerful.
Those arcadia lights arent cheap either Weighs heaps too..

So i gotta find a solution.. hmmm

Hmm its 4*2*2.. I already got the tank.. Just sent to to St george store to put a weir in place and drill some holes..
