    Bathurst Speed Weekend - 5&6 December!

    the annual Bathurst Speed weekend is on in December at Mt Panorama!

    it is a two day event;

    day 1 being a supersprint down Conrod Straight and up the start finish straight

    day 2 being a hillclimb starting from Forest Elbow and ending as you come across Skyline.

    it is awesome, and costs around $250 to enter both events.

    watch this space and subscribe to this thread for more details as we get them...

    yes! a L2S is all you need...

    it is just like any other "multi-club" supersprint or hillclimb!

    a WRX pushing hard up the Esses!

    object fixation is bad!

    you kinda look up towards the sky! it is quite steep going up the esses backwards!

    my first year there i got a bit outa shape in the esses and lifted off and almost oversteered towards a wall, my brain kicked back in and i planted the throttle and pulled myself out of it...

    but yeah, went on to win my class though!

    yeah, it is a 30-40 second burst up the hill or a bit longer down conrod straight...

    semi's don't really have time to warm up, but still good if they are still fresh...

    but good street tyres are fine too, and preferable over old and hard semi's.
