Well I know as much about Toyotas as your love for VTEC. So thanks.

Well I'm convinced, they can be good looking cars. I don't like the big scoop that some of them have sticking out over the top of the roof, but I know that's a functional necessity for the higher powered ones. I'm not a fan of the series 2 tail lights (the circles with the tops and bottoms cut off), but otherwise they're not a bad looking car!

i love the circle lights, and im sure 90% people do, im looking to convert mine.

The toms air scoop is for function, i dont really like it to, but its a great improvment.

Yeah I know most people love the circle lights. It's the same with the circle lights on the 180SX, I hate them, but most people love them. I'm just weird.

Umm not really.... the Tom's scoop was originally designed for an N/A (Tom's T022) and only really functions well when coupled with the Tom's airbox....most people with them do it for aesthetic reasons

Bathurst edition was the same as most other Aus delivered (N/A) MR2's except most things were an option (A/C, foggies, leather, ABS etc) in order to keep weight down, and price down too. The last few Bathurst models were going for around the $48k mark with the GT (fully optioned) pushing $60k (!)

BTW some nice looking examples you've dug up there Questlove!

Yeah, I'm anti-snorkel personally, but hey, each to their own and all that!

really? so i thought the snorkel will feed air towards an aftermarket pod? So no point in me investing one then? I dont like the look of em, but the goal is cooling...oil cooler, intercooler, and getting as much cool air into the engine bay.

Thanks man. These cars have nothing on what i have planned haha... na just kidding
